Alyne walked slowly down the classroom corridor, sometimes turning her head to the right and left, looking for the whereabouts of Herrin. Since the incident on the basketball court, she had never seen him again.
Was it because Herrin had started to think that she is strange and chose to avoid her, or because Violet's guard was getting tighter?
Where there is Herrin, there is also Violet. Not much different from before when Herrin had not lost his memory, they were always together. The only difference is that in Herrin's heart there was Alyne's name, but now it's not there anymore, disappearing without any trace or residue.
Alyne gave up, she couldn't find the whereabouts of Herrin. In despair, she stepped onto the school's rooftop to calm down herself.
A few meters of her feet stepping on the rooftop, a gust of wind made her hair flying backwards. Her feet slowly walked towards the guardrail.
She took a deep breath, the calm
Alyne limped following Herrin's while entering his house. Earlier she had been so strong following him running to avoid Violet, but now she was having so much trouble even just walking."Do you need my help?" asked Herrin while holding out his hand for Alyne. But, she shook her head. Herrin shrugged his shoulders and immediately walked to the kitchen."Sit down first, I'll take the first aid kit," shouted Herrin from inside the kitchen.Alyne walked slowly and sat on the sofa in Herrin's family room. After waiting for a while, he came back with a first aid kit and water in both hands. He took his place by sitting on the floor in front Alyne. He started to touch her injury leg. But, she immediately pulled her leg."No need. Let me do it myself!""No!" said Herrin. Not accepting the rejection, he pulled her leg back and started to clean her bloo
"Where is Alyne?" Herrin asked one of Alyne's classmates. She looked at him in disbelief. She heard that Herrin had amnesia and forget about Alyne. But why he now looking for Alyne. "You looking for Alyne?""Should I repeat my question?" Herrin asked, he had spoken clearly and used a language that was very easy to understand, but why was the girl in front of him still asking again."Umm, no."'Good,' Herrin thought."Alyne didn't come today, she said she is sick," continued her."Oh...okay, where's your phone?" asked Herrin, making her frown.Herrin sighed again. He saw the girl's hand holding the cellphone, then he immediately snatched the phone from her hand."Hey-"Herrin glared at her, making her immediately stop her words. Herrin was seen typing something on the phone and then immediately
"Tell me what really happened?!" Herrin shouted, suddenly he was at the doorstep of Violet's room.Violet jumped on her bed."You're shocking me, you know! If my heart breaks, you want to take responsibility?" Violet's attack was no less fierce."Don't worry too much, explain to me the truth." Herrin walked in towards Violet on the bed."Explain what, Herrin?""Everything. You are the first one I saw when I woke up from the coma, you must know what really happened."Violet's heart was racing twice as fast as usual. Her throat felt so dry."Whom did you meet?" Violet asked doubtfully.Herrin exhaled slowly. "Alyne."Violet lowered her head, her hands tightly clenched at her sides.'Damn child,' Violet thought."Violet, is there something you're hiding from me?"
He curled up under his blanket, occasionally he turned his body to find a comfortable position, he wanted to sleep quickly but he couldn't."Oh damn it, why is it so hard for me to sleep?" asked Herrin to himself. He got up from his bed and walked to the balcony of his room. The sound of rain could be heard clearly in his ears. The night wind blew his thick black hair. He closed his eyes, enjoying the cold air that somehow calmed him down.He eyes again, looking far ahead, enjoying the beautiful night view of the city. His gaze turned somber. He again remembers about Alyne, the girl who has been in his mind lately."How can you be that bad Alyne?" he asked quietly, as if he were whispering to a rushing wind."You should know and understand.""You are too beautiful to be evil."***This morning Alyne wasn't in the mood. Yesterday's incident for some reason made her uneasy. &n
Alyne looked left and right repeatedly, she was looking for Herrin. Walking on the 11th grade floor is not the right thing for a junior like her. But she was still determined to meet Herrin. Several male upperclassmen gave her flirtatious glances, but she ignored them and kept walking. From the opposite direction appeared the person she had been looking for. She breathed a sigh of relief. That boy walked alone without Violet or his other friends accompanied.Alyne slowed her steps when Herrin was about one meter in front of her."Herrin," Alyne called. But, that boy only glanced at her for a minute and continued on his way.Alyne turned her body and then exerted her strength to grab the arm of the boy who just passed her. But, just one second after that, she immediately let go of her hand when she got a sharp glare from Herrin. That boy walked back away from her."You have to hear my explanation first, Herrin!"
Herrin's phone has been making a sound like a tinkling bell. Alyne's name appears on the screen. She had called him five times since the incident at recess. But, Herrin didn't have intention to receive it at all.Ting.. An incoming notification made his glance back at his phone screen.'Give me a chance. Rooftop. After school.'The doorbell rang five minutes ago. Alyne walked in the middle of the crowd of other students while continuing to look around. She had sent a message to Herrin, hoping he would read it and meet her. But the reality did not match expectations, he didn't even open the message.Because she can't find Herrin there, she took the initiative to return to the 11th grade floor, where Herrin's class is located. She was seen walking while lowering her gaze. Before finally the corner of her eyes returned to see Herrin who is now walking while playing with phone.'He didn't even wants to read my
Slap! Herrin's face turned to the side, a hard slap landed on his's cheek.Alyne stared blankly at him not believing what that boy had just said."I didn't think you could be like this." Alyne shook her head slowly with tears already falling from her cheeks. The look in her eyes clearly showed how disappointed she is and Herrin could see it very clearly. But he didn't move even a bit, still strating at her with his flat face. "I will never believe you," said Herrin fo the last words before Alyne pushed him away, freed herself from that boy's grip and chose to leave that place.***"Hey, you!" The tug on Alyne's hands made her immediately pulled to follow the footsteps of one of Violet's friends and some other friends who were dragging her."Aw!" She groaned as she tried to get away from the three people."It hurts, let me go!" She tried to use her body weight to stop the pull of Angel a
Uhk. Uhk.Alyne coughed, her hands supporting her body on the floor, her knees still above the water. She regained her breath after fully conscious, her eyes caught a boy who was also managing his breath. Alyne's heart was pounding wildly, either the effect of drowning earlier or the effect of seeing the sky that had just helped him."Thank you..." she said quietly.Herrin turned towards Alyne and their gazes met."Thank you, huh? You trouble me, you know?" Herrin grumbled. He immediately stood up without any intention of helping her to stand up too."Why are you stuck? Do you want to kill yourself?" accused him, Alyne immediately shook her head."I ..."'I will never believe you.' Herrin's words echoed in Alyne's head."You ... what?" asked him looking at Alyne who took time too long.
