Chapter Eight

Angela

Dalawang araw na ang nakalipas mula nang makabalik si Rence and almost everything seems fine not until when I was on my way to the office this morning. I noticed that everyone seemed busy. Pagpasok ko pa lang sa lobby ng company ay sinalubong ako bigla ni Evie. Her hair is tied in a ponytail and she has sweat on her face. She immediately grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards the elevator. 

“Angela! You’re here!”

“Evie, what’s happening?”

“There is an emergency meeting. The major investors are on their way here.”

“What? Hindi ba ang mga meeting kasama sila ay next week pa?”

“I don’t know. Mr. Andrews is the one who called for the meeting.”
