Atlas Pov
Never in my life have I met a woman as headstrong as Aria. Of course, that is one of the many things I love about her. But still, it pisses me off that she can not understand how much I want to keep her safe and protected.
The death of my parents was devastating for me. How can she not see how heartbreaking is going to be for me if the third person that I chose to open my heart to dies?
As I paced about in my room, the only thought on my mind was, 'Should I hire a bodyguard for her?'
But then again, she is going to see that as me trying to caged her and bent her to my rules. Why is this woman so complicated! Can't she understand I'm doing this out of love, and I'm not some controlling freak!
