Bella walked to the entrance door and tried opening it but found it locked.

"Hello Bella." Ms Jenkins called from behind her.

"Thank goodness, you're here. I need to step out for a moment but the door is locked." She said regaining her breath.

"I'm sorry I don't think you would be able to do that."

"Why? It's not even late."

"Arthur just gave a directive that no one can leave or enter without his permission." Ms Jenkins explained. "You should talk to him if you want to leave."

"Are you kidding me?" She swallowed hard, her throat suddenly went dry.

"I have no reason to."

"I have to leave now, the agreed curfew have not started. Why is he doing this to me?" She jerked the knob of the door violently.

"You're hurting yourself bella and this could in turn hurt everyone in the Lorenzo's mansion."

"What do you mean?"

"Any bruise on your body would get me fired and if you succeed on your quest leaving, everyone in the Lorenzo's mansion get fired. Think about them and their families."
