Confronting the Accused

A few days had passed. Emma Jean had been released from the hospital. Kenji had stayed with her the entire time. Rowan came to visit her, to make sure she was alright. When she knew her, daughter was going to be fine she left immediately. Wanting to leave the new couple to their devices.

Kenji wheeled her to the front of the hospital, Emma Jean grumbled the entire way. She pouted having to be pushed in a chair instead of walking. “Is this really necessary?”

Kenji shrugged behind her back even though she couldn’t see it. “The nurse brought it so you have to use it. Clearly, everyone that is discharged is removed this way. So don’t pout.”
