Floyd was busy playing with the kid even though his mind was on Aspen.

She was yet to be back.

Floyd’s phone rang and he jerked up. He was expecting it to be Aspen but he picked it, and a different person’s voice came on. “Hi, am I speaking to Floyd Wolfe?”

“Yes.” He replied.

“I found your contact as one of the emergency contacts on this person’s phone.” He said again.

“Who am I speaking with?” He asked.

“Your wife has been admitted into the hospital. I will send you the address now. Your presence is needed.” The person said and hung up.

Aspen was in the hospital? How did she get there? How?

His phone beeped with a message and it was the address as the person said. He turned to the kids and then to Sheba who seemed scared. “Take care of the kids. I need to get to someplace.” He told her.

He did not even peck the kids as he stomped out of the house. He did not care that it was raining. He ran towards the street stop to get a cab. He finally got one and he passed the address to him. Hi
