“You should know that we will be staying here for the next few days. In the mean time, we will also be working at home.” Richard said and Aspen could not help but be sad. This was not how she planned her traveling at all.

“Okay, boss.” she said, nodding her head slightly. Not like she was going to say anything as any excuse. Her brother is going to throw a fit if he finds out.

They soon settled down and went back to going through the file they were doing at the hotel.

“So I am to meet him at that place. But then...”

“Richard, I brought you coffee.” Daisy called out as her heels clicked the floor. Richard closed his eyes, trying to stop himself from shouting at her.

He turned to her and gave her a smile. The kind of smile that did not reach the face.

She grinned back and dropped the coffee.

“What are you guys doing?” she asked as she took the paper from Aspen’s hands. Aspen scoffed silently and relaxed against the chair.

“I see. Okay, continue.” she said, leaning down to peck Richard
