Evelyn POV:

‘Why does a beautiful person such as Pearl decide to become a stripper? Was she in an unfavourable situation? Isn’t it dangerous for her?’ Scott’s words linger in my mind that whole afternoon.

A loud ping and vibration from a rectangle gadget in my hand drew me back to reality. I found an unknown number texted me, but it takes a blink of an eye to know the sender.
