Chapter 32: Silent

Evelyn was still speechless. Digesting what happened in the last two hours. Her father slapped her. Evelyn knew he wasn't the best father, but this was the first time her father had used physical violence. Grace just left, with all her rights and traces left in their bedroom. Worst of all, Evelyn just stared at her. Her tongue was numb, her body was stiff, and her brain seemed to stop working. How Evelyn felt she was the world's worst human being!

You look so pathetic just standing there - About you turning out to be homosexual or about photos of you with that damn bitch all over the media." Mr Frost rubbed his old face roughly. “I thought I'd succeeded in educating you to be a true Frost who is elegant and clean of scandal but in the end, you failed, I should have just let you go with your mother at that time.
