Chapter 50: Clyden's Misfortunes

I was already in the airport, waiting for my flight to be called. I tapped my foot on the floor in both nervousness and excitement. I was excited to see Maia and hold her in my arms once again, but I’m also unsure whether she’ll even speak with me. I'm even unconfident that she'll let me inside of her house! I just hoped that she’d give me the chance to explain myself.

I looked at my watch and saw that it was only a few minutes until my flight is due. Eager to get on the plane right away, I stood up and waited right in front of the doors.

I waited for the exact time of my flight, but not a single reminder resonated in the airport. I frowned. The flight’s already due. Why isn’t anyone opening the doors?

Just then, someone spoke into the intercom, and I felt relieved for a second.

“Good day, passengers! Today is a very special day since our pilot himself has something to say.”
