Chapter 7

“Who’s there?” I yell out as I grab the nearest thing I can which is a log for the fireplace.

“It’s me Princess. It’s Enrique.” Hearing his voice felt like a relief. I had surely thought that it could be Leandro.

I slowly open the door and let him in.

He immediately grabs me into his arms.

“ Are you okay?”

“ I’m fine. I just needed some time to think after finding out my entire life has been a lie.”

“I’m sorry.” He says wrapping his arms around me again.

In that moment I feel safe like I always do around him.

That feeling was short lived as reality came flashing through my mind again.

I push him away. “Why didn’t you tell me?” That feeling I had felt, the safety I felt with him was now turned into distrust and betrayal.

“ I just found out this morning.” He says

I sigh” It doesn’t matter anyway,my entire life has still been a lie.”

I finally look at him his blue eyes filled with sadness.

“ Your mom didn’t cheat on your dad.” He says. “ Your parents adopted you but they love you more than anything and that’s why your dad wants you to marry me so that you can live your life as perfectly as you deserve.”

The thought comes up like a light-switch went off in my head. I finally understand why they use a light switch to symbolize a good idea.

“ I don’t want to marry you.”

His face fills with shock and disappointment as the words leave my mouth.

“ I want us to be partners.” I finally say.

“What?” He asks raising an eyebrow as if to ask ‘really?’

“Yeah.”

He crosses his arms and lean back.

“ I don’t want to be the girl who lives off of her dad’s money and title her whole life just to do the same by marrying you. I want to be the new COO of G enterprises.”

“Sure.” He says “ I doubt your dad would have any problem with it. We have been working like partners this whole time and you’re really good at my job.”

“ Awesome.” I say

Then his face turns serious or rather worried, like there’s a problem at hand.

“ You know we have a problem, right?”

The thought finally dawns on me. Leandro is also an heir to the family business but the board would surely not allow Leandro on it.

However knowing him he definitely has something up his sleeve.

I look at Enrique. He looks tired and worn down.

“Do you think that maybe we both need some time to relax?”

He looks at me and then his eyes wander around the room.

“ Just a day...or two...” I say slowly moving towards him.

He sighs “ Maybe we need some time to relax.” He agrees “ What about us? I mean you and me. Our relationship?”

I would be lying if I said the thought hadn’t come up but the fear that Leandro could hurt him if we actually started dating.

“ Let’s focus on taking my ex down first.”I say plopping myself down on the couch.

“So I’m not your ex anymore.” He says with a smirk and sitting in down next to me.

“We’ll get there.” I nod trying to hide the obvious smile on my face.

Then things get quiet and we just stare at each other smiling all stupid. Then he looks down and up at me again with a sudden serious look on his face.

“What about your real parents?” He finally asks

Something I also tried not to think about. Something I’m also not ready to talk about.

“ To be frank with you, I don’t have any desire looking for people who abandoned me when I was a baby and I certainly won’t give them a second thought.”

I get up and leave not giving him time to respond. The truth is I do want to see them. I want to know where I truly come from but for now I have to focus on my own well-being and becoming a successful businesswoman. Deep down I know I can’t keep running from my problems. I need to start with Leandro who will eventually lead me to my uncle Roberto.

However right now as of this moment, I need relaxation.

I go to the bathroom and run myself a nice hot bath. Upon already getting into the bath I realize I need a bath balm. I get out and wrap myself in a towel. I don’t expect Enrique to have made his way to the bedroom already. When I say ‘the bedroom’ I mean our main bedroom we used to sleep in together.

I make my way to the main bedroom hoping to find the bath balm in one of the drawers.

I open the door and see him sitting on the bed now looking at me.

“I need a bath balm.” I say immediately going through the drawers. I don’t find the bath balm anywhere,my body so wet and covered in bubbles I don’t realize my towel has slipped a bit. I turn around and Enrique’s eyes widen. I quickly cover my chest and I feel my whole body hear up.

“ Since I can’t find the bath balm, I need to get dressed.” I say moving towards my dresser.

He looks at me one more time before leaving.

I get dressed in my summer pjs which is a baby pink shorts with the same color tank top.

When I get the door of the bedroom I see Enrique leaning against the wall. He looks at me like I’m some snack and I can feel my whole body heating up. I can’t breathe my body feels hot and all I want is him.

He slowly inches closer to me until he’s less than an inch away from me.

He grazes my hand and I can feel his hot breath on my face.

“ I forgot how hot you look in those.” He says wrapping his arms around my waist.

He kisses me and I immediately fall under his spell. The one thing I keep forgetting is what an amazing kisser he is and when he has me in his embrace like now I give in to his every command . He picks me up not breaking the kiss and the next moment I’m on the bed with him hovering on top of me.

His hands slowly move up my back to my neck then to my face.

He moves his hands from my face and down to my breasts.

“ I’ve missed this.” He says in between kissing me.

“ Me too.” I manage to get out.

His hands travel away from my breasts and he takes off my tank top revealing my D cups.

He looks at them for a second. Then looks back at me his eyes full of lust and hunger for me.

He immediately starts sucking on my nipples and biting it.

He removes his t-shirt that obviously doesn’t fit his arms then removes his pants. Now he’s just in his boxers.

He kisses me again then moves down kissing my whole body all the way to my shorts which he then removes along with my panties.

He takes off his underwear then he enters me and he starts thrusting slowly, it feels like immediate ecstasy.

“ I love you.” The words slip out of my mouth

“ I love you too my princess.” He says pressing our bodies together as he continues to thrust inside me.
