Chapter 98~ Rosaria Jones

Claire frowned when she arrived at the address that the woman sent to her. It was a shabby building in the outskirts of town and when she got close, she was surprised to find that it was a clinic.

‘I never knew we have such types of clinics in the city. What is the mayor doing?’ Claire asked in her mind as she entered the place.

The building reeked of urine due to the unsanitary conditions of the place and Claire fought the urge to block her nose.

She saw a lady who looked like a nurse and called out to her, “Excuse me, I’m looking for Rosaria Jones. Is she here?”

The nurse gave Claire a once over before nodding, “Go straight, she’s in the last room.”

After thanking the nurse, Claire walked down the passage until she reached the last door which couldn’t even close properly.

There was a small bed in the ward and a battered lady lay on it, her left hand connected to the IV.
