Amanda fell to her knees in front of her husband and in-laws with tears in her eyes. No matter how hard she tried to deny the allegations, Henry and his mother would not believe her because the evidence of infidelity was in plain sight.

"You can't deny it anymore, Amanda. You and your lover have taken advantage of my son's great love for you." Mrs Vena was furious to learn the truth about her daughter-in-law.

Henry was more silent. He was speechless. The woman he loved so much was slowly killing his feelings.

"Mom. I never cheated on you."

Amanda continued to beg for forgiveness for a deed she had never done.

"Look at this picture! Have you forgotten the last time you did that?" Mrs. Vena showed Amanda a picture of her with a man doing very embarrassing things. "This is so disgusting!"

Henry could no longer think clearly. The image of his wife's behavior with another man destroyed his self-esteem, so the divorce was inevitable.

After years of separation, he met his ex-wife again—the woman who had destroyed him. After six years of divorce, it turns out that Henry still can't forget his love for his ex-wife.

For some reason, he was so happy when he met his ex-wife again. His soul feels alive again, even though it is clear that he divorced Amanda because of his wife's infidelity.

'I still love you very much, Amanda,' Henry said to himself.

"Henry! What are you thinking about?" Sonya's exclamation broke Henry's reverie about his past.

"I'm still thinking about the little girl who got hit. It's a miracle she survived." Henry exhaled harshly. "I feel so guilty."

"Why don't we go see her now?" Sonya's suggestion.

"Do you want them to know that I hit the girl, and I ended up in jail for harming her and accusing someone else?" Henry asked, looking angry. His anger made Sonya believe the incident.

"You're right. You should never show your face to that little girl or her parents."

Sonya felt slightly guilty because she had been prejudiced against Henry, even though her fiancé was in trouble.

"Even if someone else admits what I did, the guilt won't go away easily," Henry said, "You know I can't lie. I'm worried about suddenly telling the truth that I was the one who hit their child. That's why I told William to stay with the girl until she recovers."

"Was William being told to stay with the little girl, or was he sent to the office for a meeting?" Sonya asked as she lifted one corner of her lips. You're not good at lying," Sonya realized her lover's lie.

"Yes, I did tell William to go to the office, but he said the child was critical. So, I have to go to the office right now because I have a meeting in an hour. William has to look after the child, or they will sue him," Henry said.

Sonya squinted at her fiancé's movements. "Are you not lying?"

"You shouldn't always suspect me. I have a lot of work; I don't have time to deal with you."

"I wouldn't be suspicious if you were honest with me. I know you took me shopping to distract me, right?"

"Whatever you say, Sonya. I'm trying to trust a woman again, but you're not giving me that chance."

Henry was angry with Sonya, not because she didn't trust him, but because he was annoyed with her behavior.

"Henry, I'm just-"

"Finish your shopping quickly; I must return to the office." Henry cut Sonya off as he handed a black card to his fiancée.

"No, I'll pay for it myself!" Sonya refused to let Henry pay for her groceries.

Henry put the black card back into his wallet. "I'll wait outside," he said as he left the shop.

It wasn't long before Sonya came out of the store with a frown. She should have known Henry would not be friendly to her, but she had expected too much from her fiancé.

'I don't think he's traumatized by a failed marriage because his wife cheated on him, but I'm sure there's another reason. He's never liked me, but I won't give up on getting the full Henry,' Sonya said to herself.

"Do you want to keep standing there?" asked Henry to the woman carrying many black paper bags.

"Can't you be a little nice to me?" Sonya stomped her foot while pouting.

"I already did. I've tried to be nice to you, but you always suspect me." Henry immediately got into his car without waiting for Sonya.

'Oh my! That man is so outrageous. He should have opened the car door for me. I am his fiancée after all,' Sonya muttered to herself, then got into the car and shut the door hard.

"If you don't like my attitude, I'll cancel our engagement."

This time, Henry dared to threaten Sonya. He didn't care that his mother would complain about his behavior later.

"You can't just cancel it, Henry. Our parents have already agreed to our marriage."

Although she could influence her future mother-in-law, Sonya feared Henry would leave her.

"Then be nice so I can impress you." Henry turned to the woman beside him. "How much money did you use for shopping earlier?"

Sonya was silent. She was reluctant to speak even though Henry engaged her in conversation.

"Don't be like that!" Henry said, "Be reasonable so I can love you faster."

'Which attitude is unnatural?" Sonya muttered to herself. She didn't want to argue with her future husband anymore.

Henry took out his cell phone after arriving at Sonya's house. He opened m-banking and sent some money to his fiancée's account.

"I have sent some money to your account. I don't want to be called an irresponsible man."

Sonya needed clarification. She frowned, then turned to Henry.

And how surprised Sonya was when she saw the amount sent to her account.

"How come you're nice? What's the matter? Don't you usually behave like this?"

"Oh my God... you are very confusing. I'm nice, but you're suspicious. I'm daydreaming, but you're angry. I look at my phone and smile to myself. You say I'm cheating on you. Then, what should I do?"

Henry tried to be nice so Sonya wouldn't keep meddling in his affairs, but she wasn't easy to fool.

Sonya got out of the car without saying a word. She left her groceries in Henry's car.

"Dealing with women is a headache," Henry muttered, "I'm going to cancel our engagement, and I'm going to pursue my ex-wife's love."

Mrs. Vena even knelt in front of Amanda. She spoke in a hoarse voice while looking down. "Amanda, please forgive me. I regret planning to take Alan and Alana from you. I realize your relationship with my grandson is important, which I never felt before."Amanda was stunned to hear Mrs. Vena's apology. She never expected that Mrs. Vena would kneel before her and apologize so sincerely. Her heart was filled with emotion and began to soften."I have seen your influence on my grandchild's life. I realize my mistake and promise not to separate you from them. You are a great mother, and my grandchildren need you. I ask that you forgive me."Amanda felt moved and wanted to give Mrs. Vena a second chance. She could see the genuine change in the woman's heart."Mrs. Vena," said Amanda understandingly, "I appreciate your apology. I also hope that we can improve our relationship in the future. Wake up!"Amanda stood up and helped her ex-in-law to get up. Even though the woman had done a lot of w

In a quiet living room, Henry sat on the sofa with a tense face and sharp eyes, looking at his mother. Beside him was Amanda."Why don't you bring my grandchildren?" Mrs. Vena asked, pretending to be excellent."Mom, we decided to get married again." Amanda got straight to the point. "I hope Mother will approve of us."Mrs. Vena was silent; she couldn't say a word. Even though Amanda had given birth to two grandchildren for her, she didn't want Amanda to be her second daughter-in-law because she didn't want to have a poor daughter-in-law.Henry smiled sarcastically, seeing his mother just silent and without saying a single word. "As I thought, Mom was nice to Amanda and just wanted to make her miserable."Amanda held Henry's hand so that the man wouldn't continue what he was saying."Amanda, we were fooled by this old woman. Do you still believe her?" Henry started the conversation in a firm tone."I'm sure Mom has changed, especially now that we have Alan and Alana. I'm sure your gue

Henry stood in front of Amanda. Expectant gazes turned to Amanda, who was sitting in front of him. Silence immediately enveloped the room; only the sound of the clock ticking on the wall could be heard in the ears of the four of them."It's been a long time since we lived apart, Amanda," Henry said tremblingly, trying to suppress his nervousness. "We've been through a lot together, and honestly, I can't live without you."Even though he felt nervous, Henry dared to propose to his ex-wife again in front of his assistant and secretary."We have been apart for so long, but my love for you has never changed. Even though you once hurt me because of a misunderstanding, the love in my heart never faded."Amanda looked at Henry with a face full of doubt. Her mind and heart were racing. Remembering the reasons behind their decision to separate made Amanda's heart cut like a dagger. She knows that mistakes and misunderstandings have ruined the love they once had."But..." Amanda looked down; sh

William arrived at his house after Mr. Anderson came home. He ran into Henry, who was going home."Boss, when are you arriving?" William asked."Where are you from?" Instead of answering, Henry asked his assistant again."I ...." William stopped speaking when the cell phone in his pocket rang non-stop. William reached into it and looked at his cell phone screen. "Mr Jo? Looks like there is important information," said William to Henry.Willy answered a call from the butler at the Boss's house."Sir, there is important information about the old lady," said Mr Jo from behind the telephone."We'll go there now. Let's talk at home.""Are you back, sir?""Boss and I are home," answered William, "we'll be there soon."William hung up the phone immediately. "Boss, I'll change clothes first. We're going to your house now.""Your clothes are wet; where have you been?" Henry was surprised to see that his assistant's clothes were wet."It was raining there. "Thank you, darling." William kissed Tiara's hand many times."Darling?" Tiara was surprised. "We are not married yet.""We can start getting used to it now." William looked at Tiara with a smile. He didn't expect the final choice to fall on the boss's secretary. "I promise to treat you well."Tiara smiled while muttering to herself. 'Hopefully, my decision is not wrong.'Meanwhile, at William's house, Amanda and their children had just arrived home after returning from abroad."Mom, why don't good father come home with us?" Alana asked while leaning her body against the back of the chair."There are jobs that only a good father can do. So, he has to come back earlier than us." Henry tried to explain to his daughter even though he didn't know what important business it was, which made William so in a hurry to return."Good father has a lot of work; now, we are always accompanied by Henry's father. So it's not lonely anymore even though we rarely see good fathers." Alan began to feel c

"I'll get you some drinking water first; Boss must be thirsty." Tiara became increasingly nervous. "Please come in!"Tiara opened the door wide and rushed into the living room. William followed Tiara into her house."Please sit down, Boss! I'll get you a drink first."Tiara immediately went to the kitchen to get drinking water. Arriving in the kitchen, Tiara slumped and sat on the floor."Oh my God, what should I do?" Tiara held her chest while sitting cross-legged on the floor.A few minutes later, she woke up and stood up after calming down. Then, Tiara brought a glass of water for William."Please drink, Boss!"'She was in the kitchen for ten minutes but only brought me water. What was she doing in the kitchen all that time?' thought William.William took the drinking glass provided by Tiara. He drank all the water because he was also nervous."Do you want more water, Boss?" Tiara asked when William put the empty glass on the table."Yes, but it would be even better if it had taste,
