Eric's POV
I was trying to get the pizza out of her hand but accidentally leaned on her causing her to lose her balance on the chair with me above her. My lips were on hers and it felt so good.
"Y-yo-your h-hands." I heard her say, bringing me out of my thoughts and realizing where my hands had been the whole time. I was so busy thinking about my lips on hers without realizing I had my hands on her breasts.
"O-oh...I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean to." I said and tried to stand up but I didn't know what came over me so I 'Accidentally' fell again before I fully stood up. My lips were on hers again and I couldn't help the way I was feeling.
When I saw that she didn't make any sort of movement, I began kissing her. I kissed her for a while trying to get an entrance in
Abbi’s POV“Look I know you were not expecting to hear this but I felt I must tell you. That girl is nothing but nasty and manipulative, that’s why you need to be careful. I’m not sure why she came back but I certainly hope it’s not for my brother. So please Abbi! Don’t let anything…especially that girl come between you both.”I was dumbfounded. I just stared into Laura's eyes and nodded my head cause I couldn’t find any words to say. So… this is why what happened yesterday happened. He probably thought I was his ex. I felt my heart breaking. Tears were welding up in my eyes and I didn’t want Laura to see it so I quickly bid her farewell and was on my way out.I refused to let myself cry. I tried com
Eric's POVToday is the happiest day of my life. I got what I wanted. Abbi loves me, she does. I never knew this day would come and that too, so soon. We lay on our bed cuddling each other and not saying anything.I was going to say something to her but found out she was already asleep. I admired her beauty as she slept. Her long lashes, fleshy nose, and beautiful wide lips. My lips slowly spread in a smile as I remember the kiss we shared earlier. After taking a look at her and appreciating her face to my content, I gently moved away from her to put off the light.Abbi's POVI woke up feeling so pressed so I stood up to ease myself."Where
Abbi's POVI yawned as I stretched my arms and feet, twisted and turned my body on the bed. What a night. I refused to open my eyes waiting for another round of sleep to take over, but after waiting for minutes without falling asleep, I opened my eyes.Shopping with Lau is a whole lot of work. I never imagined spending that many hours shopping. And she didn't even buy much. My legs were still aching.I reached out for my phone on the nightstand but couldn't find it. It was then I realized I was still in yesterday's clothes. I don't remember coming here. Eric must have been the one who brought me in. He must be downstairs. I got up from bed and freshened up. It's just 7 am, I should have slept longer. As soon as the elevator opened, a very strong aroma hit my nose. I walked
Eric’s POV“Yes Sir. Absolutely. I will send you the designs we have and the floor plan for them. You can choose which one you would like… Definitely. Have a lovely day.” I cut the call with Mr. Henry.I was able to get him to increase his budget for the mall he wanted. Since this was done, I decided to go have lunch. I came out of my office only to see my wife crying.I don’t like it when she cries, I don’t like seeing it. The only time I saw her cry was when I told her about her parents and since then I swore never to make her cry.I sure wasn’t expecting her to tell me the problem on my first try but I absolutely didn’t expect her to lie to me giving that lame excuse. I then understood that whatever
Abbi's POV"Why are you crying? Crying won't solve anything. You've cried enough. Besides, nothing happened...It just almost happened.”“You can't let this destroy what you've built. You're strong, this little incident should not bring you down. You can't let all the confidence you built over the past months die because of this.”“You're fine, as long as you don't see him everything is fine. You just have to not bump into him. Even If that happens, just ignore him. Yes. Yes, that's it. You're strong." I finished speaking to my reflection in the mirror.I checked the time and it was past 8 pm. Eric should have been back by now. He should be downstairs.I flinched as I turned towards the door to see Eric
Abbi's POVI arrived at the entrance of the office and contemplated going in, after all, I was already really late. I was about to go back home when I noticed some people leaving the building with their bags and a box. These were not just ordinary employees. All of them held very important positions in the company. Most of the people I saw belonged to the fashion department and had something to do with the clothing store. I didn’t realize I was already in the building until I heard my name from a familiar voice. I looked around and spotted Lisa walking towards me.“There you are. I was so worried. Are you just coming to work?” She questioned, concerned after seeing me with my bag.“I’m fine. What’s going on here? Why are they lea
Abbi’s POVThe office is really busier than I thought it would be. It's been two weeks now and we've filled up the vacancies.I thought things would be less busy but I had been walking down and up since morning getting some lists from the HR, sales, and design departments to Eric. I wonder why they were not sent through emails. It was lunchtime and I set out to get lunch for myself and Eric.I came back with our lunch and was going to eat at my desk when he called me back."Eat with me." He said."But someone might come in" I replied."Now how many people have you seen in this office since you started working here?" He asked. We both know the answer t
Eric's POVI never imagined that I would ever have to see Tasha again. She was long forgotten in my past. I wonder what she wants from me. How did she even know I worked here and was the CEO? I know very well I never told her that and I’m sure none of my sisters did.It definitely felt suspicious. My relationship with Abbi is just at its beginning, I don't want anything or anyone to ruin it.“Stop it, Eric,” she cut me off, her voice laced with sadness.“But I…”“It’s okay Eric, let's get back to work. We are in the office, not at home. Only talk to me about work matters here,” she focused back her attention on the computer screen. She didn't
