Chapter 10- Rosaline

One week later

“What the fuck do you mean that you and Blake are dating, how on earth is that even possible?”

Candace asked with her eyes wide open in a really dramatic way

I stared at her licking off the cream on the Oreo cookie in my hand, observing her expression slowly

I made licking off the cream a whole dramatic thing then cleared my throat

“What was that thing you were telling me a few days earlier about love and putting myself out there and entering a good relationship with someone else other than Noah?”

I asked her with one of my perfectly carved eyebrows raised

“Mmmph” Candace made a half shouting , half muffled sound “You know as hell that, that was not what I had in mind at all. If I knew you were gonna take it literally and grab the first guy that crosses your path and claim to be in love with him, there's no way in hell that I would have made that statement “

“Well..”

I began

“You cannot do that , do you know how huge this would be if Noah gets a wind of it. It has just been one fucking week since he got into this school and despite how hot he looks and he actually does look insanely hot, I know that, but he is definitely bad news”

I could see the worry written all over Candace's face as she spoke

When Blake had blackmailed me into doing this, I had requested for a week to make it look plausible at least

I had to go along with this because i had no idea whether everything he said was a bluff or if he was actually serious

“I honestly don't care what Noah thinks about me and Blake. I am so done with him” I murmured as i ventured into her closet space “Noah is huge dick”

The sweet taste of the Oreo filling left my mouth and was replaced with a sour taste, a sharp tang on my tongue

Staying with Noah had been a knee jerk reaction. I always came back no matter how much of a douche he was to me

At the start, I could not believe that he had chosen me to be his girlfriend, maybe my self esteem was on the ground with the events that had made me move here but I was very much willing to accept

Of the numerous times we broke up, literally all of them was because he cheated and on me

However, the one that broke the camel’s back was when he rose his hand to me

He had claimed that it was a mistake, he had pleaded for me to forgive him and maybe I would have after all, when I was beside Noah, nobody questioned, they just wished to be like me

“What do you think of this?” I asked Candace who was tapping away at her phone, her concerns all but gone to the wind “ I think it will go perfectly with my black shorts “

I twirled in front of the mirror, the black corset cinching my waist and exposing a generous amount of cleavage

“Definitely! Pairing those two together would look so hot “

“You think?!”

“Yes! And I know just exactly what we are gonna do with your hair “

Candace squealed, her attention leaving her phonr as she grabbed me from the closet and plopped me on the chair

“By the time I am done, you are gonna look so freaking hot that Noah will burst a brain cell”

I looked into the mirror , my grin mirroring the one on Candace's face

“Woah!” I looked up at the house infront of me “ You were not exaggerating even a bit, Brock's house is magnificent”

I said in an awestruck voice as I and Candace walked down the pathway towards the house

Everywhere was littered with college boys and girls doing exactly what they knew how to do best, party

“Why didn't they have the frat party at the frat house?”

I asked Candace who was checking her reflection in the mirror

“Something about flooding, I really can't remember “ she pursed her lips and looked at me with a grin “You ready?”

“Hell ya”

Once we stepped into the house, I could swear the music was lowered, people clearing the path for us to walk through

I could imagine what they were seeing, my black leather booty short and the corset leather black top hugged my figure and showed off my best assets, the heeled boots making my legs look longer than usual,the red lipstick on my lips made my lips look more sensual and i made a point of that my biting it slowly

Candace had outdone herself eith my makeup, the smokey eye and falde lashes gave me this biker girl look that I was really digging

I flicked a strand of hair that framed my face , the rest of my blonde tresses in a messy bun

Candace wore the opposite of me, she wore a shimmery red triangular top that bared her back, paired with a red leather skirt and boots too

Her make up was even heavier than mine

We grinned at each other as we walked towards the living room

From afar I saw the gang already seated on the couch

Winnie was on Brock, eating off his face as usual, Brock despite being Noah's best friend was very faithful to Winnie and could not get his hands off her

Jack and Noah were locked in a conversation which looked really heated from here while Liv scrolled through her phone

“We are here bitches!!”

Candace squealed and ran towards Liv dragging me along

My eyes locked with Noah and immediately I averted my gaze from him

“Why don't you guys eat each others faces?”

I shot at Jen and Brock as I threw back a glass of whiskey

“Rosie, Rosie, all snarky and full of bite “

“Shut it Brock!”

I flipped him with a grin and he laughed

“Hey Rose”

Noah started

“Girls, I am going to the dance floor, follow me”

I said immediately, standing up , not checking to see if they would follow me because I knew they would

“Okay, that was intense”

Winnie said in that soft voice of hers

“Right? It was like there was an invisible boulder in there” Liv quipped “What happened between you guys “

She asked , looking at me.

“I don't want to talk about it. I want to have fun”

I muttered, suddenly they started playing on of my favourite songs

“Hey Gasolina!!”

Candace shouted with a knowing the look

The music began flowing through my body as I moved and twisted my hips to the best, my hands running through my body and releasing my hair from the messy bun

I lost myself in the thrill of the music, a smile on my face as I grinded my hips to the beat

Suddenly I felt warmth envelope me from behind

A hand trailed down my arm leaving electric shocks as it snaked round my waist

My waist grinded against him and I could feel his hardness pressed behind me

The air shifted, it was like it was just him and I in the room filled with people
