I Am Not Him

Amalthea’s lips and Hylas’s lips were at war with each other.

Whenever hers found a moment of sanity and decided that it was enough, he captured them into yet another cycle of insanity. Soon, Amalthea wasn’t able to breathe anymore. Her energy needed the oxygen, it burned with the desire that Amalthea and her pair had for each other.

She pushed herself away from him and panted.

“Haaah…”

“NO!” He objected loudly and pulled her back into his embrace.

Their kiss this time was salty.

When Amalthea realized that what she was tasting were her pair’s tears that got mixed inside their passion, her body rebelled against her.

She could not handle being the reason behind his sorrow, and so her body took the form that Hylas created in her.

Her hair was a mixture of black strands and white ones, her human form felt immediately heavier than her sea folk one, and though she wasn’t sure, she knew that the color of her eyes would have gone back into being black now.
