Grace POV“I promise I will meet you there,” I tell Dash as he looks into my eyes. I hate when he looks at me like that. I feel like I am disappointing him and that is the last thing I want to do, but I have a paper to do for school and I am already behind. “Come on Grace, can’t you just…” he says and I shake my head, crossing my arms in front of my chest. “Dash, I don’t get between you and your work, so please, I really need to do this,” I say and he nods before his lips meet mine and he calls for Crow. Crow goes everywhere with Dash and I can’t help but smile at the sight in front of my eyes. Who would’ve thought Dash would be so attached to Crow? Considering he didn’t like dogs. I watch as my two guys leave the house while I finish my coffee. Dash has been paranoid since his last nightmare and I can’t go out without his driver, and he keeps calling me every ten minutes to check on me. I told him he is being over the top but he says he didn’t care. After getting myself ready, I
Dash POV“I don’t understand why we’re doing this,” Maggie says as she watches the bride walk down the red carpet we had put in the entrance to the middle of the dance floor. The entire club is decorated with white and black roses. “This is good publicity, Maggie. Of all people, you should know that,” Connor says, and I nod. This is one of the few things we fucking agree on. These people are paying triple of what we would’ve made tonight as a normal night with our exclusive guest list, and we are allowing them to publish photos of the club. “It’s a fucking wedding. Who the fuck celebrates their wedding in a club?” Maggie says, and I shrug. I definitely would. Clubs are my life, my passion and my fucking job. “I think it’s a brilliant idea, we have all the licenses she would need to throw a party like this, she’s just using the hype the club has to make her shine even more to be able to use it,” I say shrugging again as I shove my hands into my pockets and Maggie shakes her head. “
Dash POVI stop my bike right next to the car. The back door and the front door are open. I look around, trying to see anything that could give me a lead of where they are, but nothing. I walk to the front of the car and place my hand on the car and it’s still hot. They were here not long ago.A car stops next to me and Storm gets out of the driver’s side and Prank and Priest follow him getting out of the car. “Any leads?” Priest asks and I shake my head as I enter the car and find the keys still there.“FUCK,” I curse and Priest places a hand on my shoulder, but I shrug him off and he raises both his hands in surrender as he looks at me. I kick the tire, as everything in me is telling me I am fucked. I lost her.“Dash, come on man, we need to get out of here. This is not our territory,” Prank says as he holds his gun in his hand. His eyes widen as
Dash POV“It’s been hours and none of you has come up with anything I can fucking use,” I bark at the men standing in front of me. Anger is bubbling inside of me and fear of losing Grace is taking over like a fuck skyrocket. “You need to calm down, bro,” Jagger says and I look at him, not believing the words that just came out of his mouth. Is he really trying to calm me down? Of all people, I never thought Jagger would be the one trying to get me to calm down. He is always on the move and biting people’s heads off for a lot less than what is going on right now. “I am not calming down,” I bark back at him, kicking the door behind me and opening after. I enter my office and I slam the door behind me. I can’t believe this is happening. My phone rings and I can see Grace’s mother’s name flashing on the screen. Closing my eyes, I bring my phone to my ear and answer it. “Why isn’t anyone saying anything about Grace? Where is she?” Marie asks and I keep my eyes shut. Telling Grace’s pare
Dash POV“This is your last chance,” I say to Turner as I slam my baseball bat on his back one more time. He is lying on his stomach coughing blood, but I don’t give a flying fuck right now. “I don’t know,” he spits. His crying has increased a lot, and I am starting to believe the bastard. He has cried, pleaded, he even offered help to find whoever did this, but he has to know something. “Maybe I’ll go pay a visit to your wife. What’s her name again?” I say as his eyes meet mine and he shakes his head. “Please, they have been through enough,” Turner says. If they really were kidnapped, I bet they were tortured, beaten, or even raped, but right now, I don’t care what they have endured. I need to find Grace and stop them from doing any harm to her. “Give me something,” I let out and he shakes his head as he covers his eyes. I take a step back, watching him. I have to give it to him. He is making sure his family is safe. He did what he could, but he should’ve come to me. He should’ve
Grace POVI open my eyes, and the light is so bright I immediately close my eyes again. Slowly, I open them, trying to adjust them to the light. Looking around, I don’t recognize the room I am in. Everything is clean and tidy, the walls are white and I immediately sit down to notice I am in the middle of a king-size bed. I frown, looking around and as I try to move, I am stopped by the restraints around my wrists and ankles. The bedding is white, matching the walls, and the bed is kind of comfortable. For someone who has been kidnapped, this is not the worst-case scenario. Maybe they can’t hurt me? But why? I try to remember how I got here, and all I can think about is Dash. Has he noticed I am missing? How long have I been here? Turner. Turner’s face pops into my head as I remember asking him to save me, asking him not to do this to me, and then the masks. There’s a small table next to the table and I try to stretch to reach it but I can’t. The restraints won’t let me move that far
Dash POV“Dash, I’ve got something,” Travis says as soon as I answer the call. I look at Jagger and end the call, walking as fast as I possibly can into his office. Jagger follows me and once inside, I lean on the desk as he points at the screen. “Her father received three phone calls from burner phones this week, so I am betting he knows something. Why would a businessman be receiving calls from burners?” Travis says and I nod as he pulls an image of Frank meeting with George Livingstone.“He met with this guy,” Travis says, pulling the info on George, “two hours after the last call, and seems like they were arguing,” Travis says as he pulls a video showing them having a heated conversation. “That’s weird,” Jagger says, and I nod without saying a word. “Do we have anyone that can fucking read lips?” Jagger asks and Travis looks at him over his shoulder, shaking his head. “We don’t, but I know someone,” he says and Jagger nods. “Send him the image and get him to tell us what they
Dash POV“If you’re not going to stand by my side, don’t pull me back,” I say and Jagger shakes his head before I open the door to the small restaurant where the three bastards are meeting. I enter the place and the smell of garlic invades my nostrils, forcing me to stop breathing for a few seconds before I adjust to the smell.I walk straight to the table in the back, ignoring the waitress who tried to greet me. As soon as their eyes land on me, George tries to stand up but I shake my head and he sits back down and Frank’s eyes meet mine and then Amber’s fly to me and she bites her lower lip.“Don’t try to walk away,” I say, pulling a chair from another table and ignoring the people who started to complain about my move and I straddle the chair as I place it in front of me. My front pressed against the back of the chair and my elbow resting on the top of the back as I watch the three of them staring at me. I can almost see the wheels turning inside their heads. “So, what do we have
