Chapter 81: I Will Always Believe You

Ariana's POV

"Ariana, tell me. What exactly happened? I can smell Michael all over you," Damien questioned, and I gulped.

I stared at him, not sure if I should tell him about Victoria. Victoria's warning echoes in my head, and the little push she gave me that sent me flying was terrifying.

"I can't," I finally said, and tears filled my eyes.

"You can't tell me?" Damien asked and cupped the side of my face, wiping my tears with his thumb.

"I am scared. You will not be with me 24/7," I voiced out my fears.

"What did Victoria do?" Damien asked, traces of anger evident in his voice.

I shook my head, and more tears dropped from my eyes, running down my cheeks. Damien walked me to the bed and made me sit. He sat down next to me and held my hands in his. He kissed my hand and rubbed it gently.

"Ariana, I meant it when I said I was going to protect you. Tell me what Victoria did, I will not let her harm you," Damien assured me.
