Chapter 82: History Ripple Effect

Ariana's POV

A couple of days passed after the incident. Damien and Michael had a lot of meetings in Damien's office. Demitri appeared to be missing, and I never heard anything about Victoria or her pregnancy for a while.

One beautiful Sunday evening, after Damien and I had had supper together, we sat on the balcony, enjoying the view of the lit-up city with me wrapped in his arms. Michael walked in and gave a file to Damien. I sat down properly, and he went through the file.

"My love, everything is in place now. We are going back to the office," Damien said to me after going through the file. "And you are coming with me as my PA," he added.

"So you got the company back?" I asked, with a smile.

I was happy that everything was going back to normal gradually.

"Yes," Damien replied.

"So when are we going back to the office?" I asked.

"Tomorrow," Damien replied and checked the time on his watch. "I will have to quickly work on something. I will be in my study," he said, smiling, and lef
