Keira's pov
"Good morning." I blushed as I stepped into the dining room.
I was unsure how to act or what to say to Alpha Callum as he gazed at me across the dining room.
He was back in the wheelchair and I couldn't help but quirk my brow in question.
"Good morning." He replied, his eyes followed me like a hawk as I slowly took my place at the table and was served my breakfast.
I was sore but in the most pleasant way possible. Callum was insatiable through out the night and had woken me up for another bout of lovemaking in the middle of the night.
"Leave us." His voice boomed in the middle of our meal and the servants filed out of the room, closing the door behind them.
"How are you feeling?" He asked as he rose from his chair.
"I'm okay." I looked away from him but he gently pulled my face back towards him. With a swipe of his hand, he cleared the dishes from the table and they went crashing on the floor but Callum didn't care as he lifted me and placed me on the table, wedging himself between my legs.
His fingers found their way under my skirt and trailed up until he was at my core.
"Always so wet and responsive." He muttered as his lips captured mine, the same time his finger swept into me.
"What if someone walks in?" My voice was airy and needy and sounded foreign to my ears.
"Then they would die." He murmured against my lips as he continued his assault on my senses.
Callum was devastating to my senses and unleashed a hunger within me I never knew I possessed. He made love to me, right there on the dining table and sought me out when I was in the library for another bout of love making and then the courtyard and then the garden.
He was insatiable and I relished in the desire which clouded his eyes whenever he laid eyes on me.
"Don't look at me like that." He murmured as we laid spent on my bed, our breathing coming out ragged.
"Like what?" I asked, turning to him.
"With those tender feelings clouding your eyes." He responded and I looked at him in confusion.
"You are only my Luna because I am in need of an heir. The only reason I am in your bed is to ensure you produce an heir as soon as possible so any notions of love or such useless fantasies should elude you." He explained calmly and I ignored the squeezing of my heart at his words.
It was better this way.
My heart belonged to Asher even if my body belonged to Callum at this moment.
"I know what we are and I have no expectations of you to bear tender sentiments towards me." I replied, looking him dead in the eyes.
"What you see in my eyes is merely desire and a chase for the high which comes with my climax." I was suprised at my own blunt words.
Callum's eyes searched mine for a moment and when he was satisfied with whatever it was he saw, he dragged me under him.
"Let's make my heir then." He whispered against my lips before he took me once more.

"My wolves are going on a hunt." Callum informed meas he tugged me down and I fell into his lap on the wheelchair. He gently nibbled my ear as apprehension filled me and I tried to push him away but he wouldn't bulge.
I was about to respond but he silenced me as his lips latched onto my nipple through my clothes and I groaned softly, gripping his hair with my fingers.
"It would be a good opportunity for you to connect with the rest of the pack and the wolves." He continued and I blinked rapidly as I tried to remember what it is he was talking about.
I pushed away from his lap.
"Wait." I held my hands out in front of me when he made to rise from his chair with a predatory look in his eyes.
"I have something to tell you." I muttered.
"You can tell me later, right now-" he rose from his chair and I panicked.
"I don't have a wolf." I announced and he stopped dead in his tracks.
"What?" He asked, his voice dangerously low
"I don't have a wolf, I've never transformed." I admitted, hugging myself as he gazed at me with an unreadable expression on his face.
"But your parents told me you have one of the most beautiful wolves in the pack." He stated, a nerve in his jaw ticking.
"That was my sister, not me." I revealed and I went on to tell him how he was meant to marry Maya and not me.
"I will banish your family for this deception." His voice was eerily low and I wondered where the man whose dark orbs had burned with desire for me, just moments ago, had gone.
"Punish me instead Callum. I was the one who insisted on fooling you. I didn't want to see my family enduring shame or worse still getting banished. If you want to banish anyone let it be me." I told him firmly.
"They gave me a wolfless mate." He growled, his eyes dark with anger.
"I would do anything, anything at all to protect my family, let me take the blame for everything." I pleaded with him as my heart beat loudly in my chest.
He eyes me for a moment before he nodded.
"Very well. I will not banosh your family in the meantime while I find a befitting punishment for you." He revealed and I sagged with relief.
"Thank you." I muttered as his eyes bore into my soul.
It didn't really matter what he decided to do to me as long as my family was safe, that was all that mattered.
Keira's povI sniffed the pretty rose flowers as I walked down the pathway, lined with different flowers. It was a cool beautiful evening, the perfect time for a walk and with Callum taking care of some pack business I had nothing to do.I mused on how my life had changed drastically in a span of a month and what a wonderful month it has been.Everyone at Callum's pack was warm and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable in their pack and so far no one had questioned me on why they had never seen me transform.Callum was a whole different issue and I blushed at the mere thought of him.The man was built to be a sex machine, to give unthinkable heights of pleasure. I couldn't, however, stop wondering why he chose to lie to everyone about being crippled. The man he was once we were alone was anything but crippled or with any disability.I wondered what his reasons were and I realized that I knew absolutely nothing about my husband except his sexual appetite.A hand gripped my wrist and

Keira's povI stared at my reflection in the mirror, my eyes scanning over the lingerie which left little to nothing to the imagination. This wasn't me, I felt like a stranger in my own body.I turned away from the mirror and gulped as I scanned the room. The room was lowly lit with candles, no doubt to set the mood, and my heart dropped as I stared the large bed in the middle of the room.My breathing was shallow as my eyes darted nervously aroumd the room. The only sound which could be heard was the silent tick from a wall clock and it only served to heighten my nerves. Was Alpha Callum coming to mark me tonight?Just when I had began to lose hope, the door to my room creaked open and shut with a decisive click.I held my breath as Alpha Callum wheeled in and stopped a few steps from the door. His eyes trailed down my body and I fought against the instinct to wrap my arms around myself. His eyes darkened when he looked back up into my eyes and my lips dried at what I see there.Des
Keira's povNo, no, no.This couldn't possibly be happening, there had to be a mistake somewhere.Yet no matter how many times I blinked, the note in my hand still glared at me." Dearest Keira, I have always sought to make our parents proud and I must admit their expectations on me are a weight I could no longer carry. I cannot marry the Lycan king, especially when I am in love with another. He is crippled for goodness sakes!!! That is a flaw even you have to admit you cannot live with forever. By the time you read this note I should be happily married and mated to the love of my life.I am sorry for being a disappointment and putting you on the spot but I have to do this for me. " Maya signed at the bottom of the note and I stood by my dresser, speechless.Maya had run off to get married and in a few hours she was expected to marry the Lycan king.My family was ruined."Keira, have you seen Maya. She should know better than to stay out late when we have so much to do today." My mothe
Keira's pov"We are so proud of you Maya." My mother gently caressed my sister's cheek with affection."You've brought great honour to this family and tomorrow we would be the envy of all the families in the kingdom." She continued. She glanced at me for a fleeting moment and the joy in her eyes diminished."At least one of you are good for something." She muttered and her words pierced through me like every other time.I should have been used to the snarky comments but they hit they're mark at me every single time.It wasn't a secret I was a great disappointment to my parents and my family. I was everything my perfect sister was not. Beautiful, gracious and blessed with a beautiful wolf.My parents had been worried when I was unable to transform and they tried everything within their power, including visiting seers, to nudge my wolf out . Eventually they knew it was helpless and gave up.I watched the light and love in their eyes slowly sip away as the years passed by."You are abou
