Chapter 7. The Treatment

*Alpha Zero*

Just by knowing the name of the place "Wolf's Lair" reminds me of the rogues. I know we will encounter some enemies today, and my heart is boiling with annoyance as to the cause of this encounter. Princess Jasmin of the Royal Pack have run away. What an ungrateful brat of a Princess!

I am giving her brother a favor by teaching her the ways of the wolves outside the Palace. As being a Princess she have no idea what happens with the wolves outside the comfort of her life status. She's been spoiled since she was younger, and I blame her family for doing so. But now, I am forced to do this as compliance to the friendship I built with the Alpha King.

It is not that I couldn't leave without this alliance but I just need it to strengthen my own pack too. There have been too many enemies of my pack. The rogues,  the witches, vampires and demons lurking in the wilds. Even in the human world there are enemies too, but the alliance we have on the four regions of the wolves have helped us survive the threats.

I stood there clenching my fist unable to lay a hand on the filthy rogue that hold the Princess against us.

"Quickly Derek! The rogues must have not gotten far!".

As soon as the leader of the rascals went out of the room with the Princess in his hand. I shouted at my Beta to follow them and all of the warriors that I brought.

We hurried outside of that old log cabin and looked around only to find out that they have quickly disappeared.

I let out an angry growl and scanned my eyes around. That's when i noticed the Princess lying in the ground, near the parking of our vehicles.

"Oh..shit!, check the Princess if she's alright!"

Two of my warriors run towards the place where my eyes is staring, while i follow them on longer strides. Beta Derek and Ayah bend down to check her out. "Ayah, check how is her pulse.”

Ayah's hand went from her hand to her neck. "She passed out Alpha, but not from injuries. Probably from exhaustion and hunger.”

"Hunger!?”

I brought myself beside her and watched her face. She looked pale and skinny. Her small figure seemed to need more nourishments as a human and a wolf. I could tell by her complexion that she had not shifted for quite a long time and have not eaten a wolf's food.

"What a clumsy little brat! Take her to the car and let's go home for now, those rogues could live another day. But i swear we will hunt them down again, I don't care if there hiding in the city.”

As i spit the words, my eyes travelled from the Princess to the clothes she's wearing and to her neck.  The cuts she have from the sharp claws of Charles is not healing. It is not deep or dangerous but as a wolf she should be healed by now.

When my Beta, Derek bend down to get her. I suddenly froze.

"Stop Derek!".

He turned to looked at me and frowned. "But Alpha, I just want to carry the Princess into our car.”

"No, you and Ayah get the car ready. Tell all the warriors to head home. I will carry the Princess to the car, and Derek...you drive.”

I pretended not to noticed the surprised exchange of glances between Ayah and Derek in front of me.

"As you wish Alpha."

He replied and stand up to walked towards where we have parked our vehicles. Ayah followed him with a mysterious smile playing in her lips. This will be the first time i will carry a woman in my arms.

I bend down an slip my arm under her neck and the other just below her bottom. Her face is a little smaller and she looked prettier up close. She have soft long hair that's slightly wavy in chocolate brown color. Her brows and thick velvety lashes is in the same shade. My eyes continued to searched her facial features, admiring her dainty nose and pouting lips.

I inhaled her scent and couldn't tell what is it but she smelled of something different. So different from all the she wolves i have come to feel this closed. I shook my head and held her closer against me, as i got up and walked towards the  car.

What the fuck is wrong with me?

I questioned myself when i felt the stirring of my loins. It hasn’t been that long since i had a woman in my bed. The she wolves of my pack are all willing to satisfy my needs as a man, although i have no desire to find my mate but it doesn’t mean i would sexually deprived myself from the pleasure.

I tried so hard not to make myself groan as i kept walking to the car with her soft body in my arms. Beta Derek came out and open the door behind the driver’s seat. He waited until i have settled her to the seat before i turned around and sat next to her.

“Drive Derek, and make it fast!”

The surprised looked on my Beta’s face made me a little annoyed. It’s true i have not showed any feeling of concern towards any other she wolf before but they have to realized that this one beside me now is a sibling of the Alpha King.

I turned my gaze towards her and noticed how her temperature turned warmer. As Derek drive the car away from that old house, i had the looked of confusion on my face.

It was after a few minutes on the road when something crossed my mind.

“Wait! Derek, stop the car now!”

“Oh, alright Alpha”.

Derek turned the wheels on to the side of the road and halt.

I put my knuckles gently on her forehead and noticed how she’s burning up. “Shit! She’s having a fever from that little scratches.”

Derek looked behind us and opened his mouth to speak. “Alpha, we have no first aid kit inside your car. Do you want me to mind linked Ayah, so that she could come back and check on her?”

I shook my head and turned the Princess neck to looked at the cuts she got from the filthy claws of that rogue. It didn’t looked good, they are not healing at all. As a powerful wolf, I know the remedy to her infection. 

I gently pat her cheek and shook her shoulder. “Hey Princess, wake up.”

She groaned as my gaze focused on her eyelashes and waited impatiently to see her open those eyes. Her lips moved and her lashes flutter. After that, her eyes opened.

“Agh!”

She cringed in pain as her hand went to touched the scratches on her neck. I know she will not heal as fast as a normal she wolf if she haven't hunt and feed on fresh meat for a long time. And even more if she haven't shifted.

Her eyes widened in shocked when she looked at me. I couldn't help but stare at them... So beautifully brown with specs of gold. Her entire face is like nothing I've ever seen before when her eyes are open. They were very expressive and staring  into them made me feel her emotions, like her fears and anxieties towards being in the car with me now.

“Don’t look at me like I am the one who caused that injuries in your neck Princess... Because I am maybe ruthless towards my enemies but I have never hurt a woman before.”

I smirked and diverted my eyes towards Derek who's looking at us since the moment the car stopped.

“Agh, my neck...it’s painful”.

“Oh sorry about that, it's what you get for neglecting your wolf blood. I have never thought that you would prefer to mingle in the human world than with the wolves at the Royal pack”.

She seemed to be not in attention on my words as she continues to groan out of pain. She looked more weaker than a human right now, and that made me frantic at how careless she is. I held both of her shoulders and speak.

“Look at me Princess, and listen carefully.”

Her facial grimacing stopped and her eyes looked back at me. “I know how to stop the pain but you need to trust me and stay still, do you understand?”.

She grimaces again and nod her head. “I..understand, please do it quick”.

The corner of my lips twisted into a mock smile. “Don’t move, and try your best not to push me.”

After I heard her soft voice that said “ok”. I lowered my head to her neck. My fingers pulled back some of the hairs that covered the scratches at her neck. I groaned at the sight of her injuries that’s exposed. She have deep cuts at the side of her neck, just how hard did that scoundrel grip at her fragile neck!

I calmed myself before holding out my tongue to lick the cuts on her skin. I earned a soft moan coming from her lips when my lips graze her skin. I smiled at the back of my head. Someone is clearly enjoying my first aid treatment.

“Does it still hurt?”

After a few licking, I asked her the question. Her body froze and the pulse on her neck beats fast, I could feel it through the closeness of our bodies.

“Uhm a..little”.

After hearing that I did it again, making sure that her skin is wet of the saliva from my mouth. She arched her neck and moaned again, it echoed through my body. That cause something to stir in between my legs. I stopped and looked at her face. Surprised with my own feelings.

She had her eyes closed, and she’s biting on her lips that made me feel the sudden urge to bite on them as well. Shit! I cursed my brain out.

“I guessed the pain is gone now.” I softly mumbled and that's when she opened her eyes and looked at me. Her cheeks flushed, before she answered me.

“T-thank you...”

Derek cleared his throat and our eyes meet at the rearview mirror. “Can I start the car now Alpha?”

“Yes, and mind linked Ayah not to wait for us. Tell her to go home straight at the pack house and get a room ready for the Princess.”

I fixed myself on the other side of the car like nothing happened. “I suggest you take a nap on the way Princess, we will be driving for three hours before reaching the North”.

I pretended to close my eyes and leaned my back against the seat. But I am well aware of the looked she's giving me. I could feel her every movements inside the car and when she leaned back to relax, I knew her neck didn't hurt anymore. I have never done this method to anyone before but I know it always works for the wolves. The taste of her blood and skin in my mouth is still lingering, it's a delicious treat I’ve had myself as consolation for how bothersome she is.
