DEAD BODIES EVERYWHERE
The Beta's point of view: Whenever we cleared an area of vampires, a whole new battalion would appear. We need reinforcements quickly; I see so many of my wolves dead or incapacitated; I feel like I let down my Alpha; I should have always had warriors ready.
A view from Alexi: I see my mate lying unconscious on the ground with vampires all around him, waiting for the opportunity to kill him. In a flash, I reach my mate by zooming over the tops of warriors. In a circular motion, I shoot out a laser to cut off the heads of the vampires. As one of my warriors stood in front of him, I mind-linked him to carry the Alpha to the pack hospital. Using a protective bubble, I ensured no one could harm him. He grabbed my mate and raced to the pack hospital.
Afterward, I sent a message through Royal Pack's mind-link. I need reinforcements; the enemy has been advancing, and we have lost many bodies. My father acknowledged me and said he would be there soon.

Prior to my father and brothers leaving, I hugged them. While walking home, I noticed that many of our pack members were bowing to me. As I stared at Nicolas in curiosity, I wondered what was happening. "You made quite an impression with the magic that won the war," he smiled at me. "It was pretty amazing to watch it." As I walked, small children embraced me and smiled at me. The pack members embraced me with permission. What should have taken five minutes took two hours. Nicolas – The next morning, I was watching Alexi while she slept, color was returning to her face, and she cried twice in her sleep, but I would hold her closer, and she would stop crying. I played with strands of Alexi’s hair, realizing how lucky I was to have her. The nurse during the night unplugged the feeding tubes. Mind-linking my gamma I asked him to pick up breakfast for Alexi and me, as hospital food always tasted like cardboard. Alexi - We took advantage that my grandparents were taking over the pack temporarily. With the past month that Nicholas and I have had we needed a break. Our stress reliever is sex, plain and simple, we are wolves after all and we have a high sexual need otherwise we are not easy to get along with. After two days of nonstop sex, we were ready to take back over our pack.
