Chapter 9 We Will Wed

He emphasized this to me once more. I figured he must find it amusing to watch me standing there with my mouth wide. I knew that practically all the girls wanted him to be their partner, but I never imagined that he would be my mate.

"How could?" Rhoda muttered angrily, then she took a long breath and acting composed, "How is she your mate, Alpha? She... She can not even shift."
