Chapter 41

     "Fine! I'll go with you." I rushed out when he stood up and was actually about to lift me up.

"You had better. Let me help you up." He drawled out as he pulled on my left hand till I was almost hitting his chest with the amount of force applied on the pull, but I didn't.

He led the way into the kitchen with me trailing slowly behind him, I got tempted to stomp my feet on the floor like a child but I decided against it.

What could going into the kitchen hurt anyways?

I ran my fingers across the beautiful designs on the walls as we headed to the kitchen, tiny roses were sketched into the wall, the patterns grazing my fingers soothingly, leaving cold and tiny tingles behind.

We finally reached the kitchen, he went straight to the fridge and pulled it open while I took the opportunity to look around and take in my fill of the kitchen.
