Just as Trevor rushed into the house, Madame G’s eyes snapped shut, and her body went rigid. I stared at her in shock, my heart in my throat. What was happening?

I felt this unfamiliar pull in my limbs and the desire to reach for her grew with every passing second. I knew what the feeling was, it was my magic.

Trevor was lifting her up in his arms when her eyes snapped open again, this time normal, and she looked directly at him.

“Stop,” she drawled out in a faint whisper. He dropped her hastily with her back resting on the center table. He looked a little spooked out by what was happening. “I know why you're here,” she said looking straight ahead but I knew it was meant for me.

Her head fell forward and for a moment, everything in the room was still.

“Luna? You're here,” Madame G said in her usual voice, looking around in confusion.

“Madame G, are you alright? It looked like you were having some form of seizure,” I told her, feeling confident enough to take a few steps closer.

The creature didn't disappear. Not when I rubbed my eyes vigorously, not when I washed my face, not even when I spent the night in Sandro's room and returned to my room in the morning.“Is this a bad dream?” I asked out loud as I slowly walked towards my bed. Like my disbelief wasn't enough, the strange creature spread open a pair of tiny webbed wings and fluttered towards me.“What the hell are you?” I whispered, cocking my head in bewilderment. “Good morning Luna. I waited for you all day,” the tiny voice came again. It was clearly coming from the small creature but I could barely make out a mouth on it. “I'm Lin. I'm a faery, your faery,” she introduced with a small curtsey.I pointed at myself, confused. “My faery?”“I was released from my home when your magic had a burst a few days ago,” she said. “The magic had a huge effect on my home, causing a tremor that sent me here. It didn't take me long to find you. You're magic is a magnet to mine, so I followed it,” she explained, her

My ears were ringing. Sandro's words were playing over in my head. I laughed, a dry humourless sound. “This is great. This is just great, Sandro. What else are you keeping from me?”“I'm not keeping anything from you, can you just listen and–” I cut him off. “First it was the mafia and then the prophecy about me that could still be true. Now I'm finding out you have a daughter? What could be n–”“Elara!” He bellowed in his Alpha voice and my mouth snapped shut instantly. My eyes widened when I realized I had just confessed to eavesdropping on his conversations. I lowered my eyes from his.“Wait. Did you just say prophecy?” Sandro asked, taking slow predatory steps towards me. “How did you hear about that?”His movements flashed my mind back to long before our relationship started blossoming. How every interaction we had was a predator vs. prey moment. I felt like a prey once again. His hands moved and I flinched instinctively. “Please don't hurt me,” I begged, covering my face wit

That single word hung in the air like a physical object. The silence that followed was heavy and sharp. My cold mask remained intact, but my mind held a whirlwind of questions. Alessia's eyes were wide and remained fixed on the longer-haired rogue. The rogue girl with the long, dark hair, looked at Alessia. The fear that had been in her eyes vanished, replaced by a soft, contented look. She smiled softly and whispered the word back. "Mate."“See? I told you,” she whispered to her sister with the buzz cut.My soldiers immediately tensed, their hands going to their weapons. I held up a hand, silencing their movements. “What's your name?” I asked the girl who was Alessia’s mate.“Lena. Lena Petrova.”“Okay Lena. And what did you mean by that?” I asked, my voice calm.Buzz cut looked at her sister and then to me. “Nothing,” she said with a hint of irritation in her tone.Lena cut her off. “It's nothing really. She just… she was worried and doubtful.” Her sister snorted, a clear, frustra

“I was told that there's a secret passed down through the Moretti Alpha line. Moretti men meet their mates between the ages of 20-25, no earlier and no later. After I turned 25 and there was no sign of my mate, my father and I visited a witch. Through her, I learnt that my mate would come along years later, and that her presence would trigger disasters in my pack,” Sandro revealed.I didn't move and I was barely breathing. I couldn't risk getting seen at that point. “This prophecy is known only to the men in my family, it has never gotten out and should never,” Sandro sternly warned them and they made sounds of agreement.“When Elara came along, I believed I would be protecting my pack and my family by rejecting her. I had been warned that she would be a harbinger of a great evil, and that it would be our greatest undoing, so rejecting her seemed like the wise thing to do,” he continued. My mind was racing with multiple thoughts. Me? A harbinger of evil? Could it be because of the mag

Sandro wasted no time to ravish my body and he was amazing at it. Words cannot possibly describe how pleasurable the feeling of his lips on my breasts was. My soul left my body for a moment when he snapped the thong off me and began working his fingers down there. My fingers must have left marks on his back and arms as I clawed at any and everything while I rode out the pleasure. Without giving me any time to recover from my high, I felt him position himself at my entrance and in one swift motion, he filled me. A gasp tore from my throat and my back arched forward at the sharp pain that quickly spread through me. Before I could fully register it, he began trailing kisses down my neck while he rolled a nipple between his fingers. He moved again and slowly, the pain I felt morphed into pleasure. My eyes rolled to the back of my head as moans escaped me. “Yours,” I whispered in his ear. Sandro trailed his tongue over his mark on my neck, sending me over the edge multiple times with
