The rest of us ran towards the sound to find Maria sprawled on the floor some distance away from where we previously were. It seemed like she hit her head with a strong impact from when the earth shook.

Sofia was cradling Maria in her arms and I could see the blood seeping into her shirt while Maria panicked.
