Chapter 34

When I had said that I was his wife, an unfamiliarity look flashed in her eyes but it was gone the next second. She looked down at me mockingly.

“What to do about that? I'm his mate,” there was a hint of pride in her words and I couldn't take it anymore.

Shaking with anger, I pulled out the wedding ring I always carried with me from my pocket, picking up Atlas hand and dropping it on his palm

“Here, this is for you!” I hissed.

Without delaying for even a second, I turned on my heels storming away.

“Heyley,” Atlas called my name but I ignored him, keeping my gaze straight as I walked

I blink back tears, struggling to meet up with Daciana and the rest.

Alisa turned to look at me and I kept my eyes down, walking slowly.

“Are you alright? You don't seen fine and we all can notice that,” Alisa seemed cautious. It was obvious she hadn't yet forgiven me but she couldn't bring herself to ignore my red eyes.
