Aria’s Pov

I dragged my legs slowly to the pack house feeling exhausted and tired. I was going to face the bitter fate of my miserable life.

My life has been full of misery from the day I was born. My mother, according to my father, ran away when I was just a day old claiming that my father and her were not fated mates. She ran away and came to Luna of Riverside pack, our rival pack, claiming the Alpha was her fated mate.

I slowly pushed the door open and my eyes immediately caught that of my ex-mate’s own, he had once said he hoped our path never crossed again but here I am, as a lowly servant coming to defend myself of the allegations placed on me.
