Alaric returned to the guest house when he had finally calmed down. The large grandfather clock struck five as he entered the reception.

Luckily the receptionist had dozed off and there was no one in the corridor. Once inside his room, he took his human form and hopped into the bathroom for a quick shower.

He called up for home service but no one picked up. Probably, they were still sleeping. Letting out a deep sigh he walked to the pantry to get some water.
