Now that Tristan was left alone in the room, he saw it as the perfect opportunity to speak to the moon goddess and have her clarify to him all that had happened and why he was friends with Jade when he wasn't.
He tossed and turned on his bed, disturbed by so many things. He wanted to call for the moon goddess but he just couldn't at the same time.
He was lying on his back with both palms placed on top of his stop while staring at the ceiling. It wasn't dark in the room yet it felt dark for Tristan. It has always been dark for Tristan. All his life he saw darkness.
Whenever he thought of his curse, he wished his father was never cursed and his mother did not have to die because of it. A memory of the past resurfaced in his head and a lone tear slipped down his cheek.
Seven years old Tristan saw his ma
Tristan imagined how his life would be once his curse was broken and the people's attitude towards him. He has blended well with the humans and has come to love and understand them very well. He recalled how envious he was of Tristan Stone when he saw the love and support he got from everyone and then he thought of Simon. Simon had Tristan Stone back and took his problems on his head as if it was his. Most times he forgets that he wasn't Tristan Stone as he felt the strong bond Simon and Tristan stone had. He was sure going to miss the human world and he knew it because he was starting to feel like one of them in the body of another. Tristan exhaled deeply. "I wonder how my life would be if I came from another?" After having a few conversations with himself of how his life wou
Jade stared at Tristan with a frantic expression masked on her face."What do you mean by that?" She asked.Tristan took a deep breath. He had always said he was going to do what he felt was right after all his fate was in his hands. He didn't want to keep acting nice to Jade anymore, not after what she did to him before everything changed."It's as it implies. You say Lydia is suspicious but the true suspicious person here is you. You can't accuse someone you do not know when you are the real suspicious one," he told her.Jade's eyes fluttered and then her brows creased. "I'm surprised by your statement. You think I am suspicious?" She scoffed."I have known you for years Tristan and as for you, you haven't known her for half a year and you trust her more than you trust me? Why is that so?" She got up from where she was seated and raked her hair with her fingers.&n
"So you told her off like that?" Simon asked with a questioning look."I didn't tell her off. She asked me a question and I gave her my honest reply. I cannot keep lying to her and most especially myself and so I did what was best." Tristan replied."And what were her questions and what were you replying to? I just feel you weren't nice when you gave her your reply." Simon said.Tristan facepalmed himself. "So you think I would say words to her that could kill her?" He clicked his tongue. He walked closer to Simon. "She asked me to tell her that I didn't want her and she would leave and I told her if that would make her happy then she shouldn't be restricted from doing what would make her happy and I wished her no bad or harm." Tristan answered.Simon scrutinized Tristan. "That was it?" He asked."Yes. Was that okay? Can I be now? I just came ba
Tristan had never felt so good before.Since he woke up in the morning, he had a smile on his face, one that he was sure could not be replaced because of the moon he was in.He felt he was closer to accomplishing his mission in the human world and the thought of going back to his world and seeing the reaction he'd get his pack member sent warmth of delight in his belly. As much as he'd miss some things and people in the human world, he knew it was all temporary as he'd have to go back to his world where he ruled as an Alpha."Sir, Miss Melton is here." Aria informed Tristan."Tell her to come in," Tristan ordered and she nodded her head before leaving.Lydia walked in looking effortlessly gorgeous in a strapless black dress, showing off her long legs and gladiator black heels to match. She was barely having any makeup on her face, l
*WARNING: MATURE CONTENT AHEAD*It was the most perfect night for both Tristan and Lydia. They had a nice time on top of a cliff, staring at the beautiful stars and talking about their lives and likes."Thanks for tonight, I had a very nice time." Lydia said to Tristan. He was standing with her in front of her room."It's no problem. I'm glad you had a good time." He said to her."Okay then. Go in," he said to her and she nodded her head."Goodnight Tristan.""Goodnight." He said."Tristan." Lydia called just as he was about to leave.Tristan turned to look at her."What?" He raised his brows up in a questioning manner."Do you want to come in?" She asked him, locking gaze with him.Tristan felt a jolt of electricity down
Everything felt surreal for Tristan. He wanted to believe he was in a bad dream and so he picked himself hard but everytime he pinched himself, he realized he wasn't dreaming. He was still in the human world and he felt pains at the back of his neck and ache in his head and back of his eyes.Lydia being the one who cursed him baffled him a lot and Jade being the one to break his curse baffled him too.Just how? He thought to himself. He couldn't wait to discover the mystery behind everything.Tristan got off the bed, wore his clothes and just as he was about to leave, Lydia woke up."Where are you going?" She asked. The skin between Tristan's brows creased. He began to wonder if Lydia knows of the power she has or not because he didn't understand anything at all.Lydia was talking to him as if she di
Tristan looked around the room. He felt his time running out and thankfully he saw the window opened. He couldn't believe he had not thought of that since. He looked at Lydia one more time, scrutinizing her so that she wouldn't know what he was planning to do as he felt she might have the powers to hold him down.In a hazy state, he began to walk towards the direction of the window in an unsuspicious way."Finally. It seems you made the right choice." Lydia smiled, thinking he was coming to her but then he changed his movement and fled through the window taking her by surprise.Tristan felt relieved the moment he came out of the room. He felt alive. Although he still felt pains, they were not as compared to when he was still in the room.He took in a deep breath, inhaling the natural air before he began to walk away.He needed a lot of answers and how t
Simon arrived at Jade's place later in the evening as soon as he was done with his work at the office."Welcome Mr Francis," the woman at the door said to Simon."Is Jade around?" He asked."No sir. She left the country last night." She informed him."What? She left? Last night? To where?" He asked all in one breath."To Greece. She didn't inform you?" The woman asked and he nodded his head.Simon ran his finger through his hair as he recalled his last conversation with her. She had given him hints about her movement but he didn't understand.Simon: What do you mean by ``you are flying away?"Jade: I am seriously flying away. I am exhausted so I feel like flying away and you won't be able to stop me from flying away.He had not understood what she meant last
