“What do you mean I need an heir to buy back that?” I shouted into the phone. Its 5am in the morning and I haven’t slept a wink since I got back to my house.

I was this close to losing it. David had successfully bought 15% of the shares. The remaining 5% was what I had gotten a hold of but the owner of the shares wasn’t going to sell it to me unless I had an heir. She was my mother’s friend. I knew this was mum’s doing. This was a company I own too.

I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath. “Okay Mrs. Landin name your price. I will pay. I need those shares.”

“You heard me Mr. Sinclair. I will sell these shares back to you on the condition that you provide an heir.” She said.

“But how am I going to be able to do that” I said in clenched teeth. I could use another way to make her give me those shares but she was affiliated with my mother. If I touched even a strand of hair on her, I knew better of what mum would do.
