Almost There

  Nightfall would be coming soon. It was time for the gathering. Everyone was finishing their evening meal when the horns began to blow from the courtyard of the castle. People were coming out in droves. Della couldn't believe it. She had no idea that there were so many people on the castle grounds. There were even some people who may not have lived there in attendance as well. It reminded Della of some kind of school yard brawl that everyone wanted to witness, just to be a part of the gossip. Her eyes began to sting with tears again.
