Saying Goodbye

    It had been three days since they had lost Mister and Pearl, and four days since the loss of Queen Esmeralda. The air was thick with sadness as they prepared to say goodbye to them all. The castle and it's grounds were all decorated in black and silver, shrouded in a thick layer of despair, and coated with the bitter sweet feeling of definate change.

  Kate and Sadie had been appointed head housekeepers but their duties were suspended for a few days, in light of them being directly related to one of the deceased. Della, Cat and Joy tried their best to cover for them, but in the end Kate decided that she wanted her and Sadie to be the one's to coordinate it all because they knew Pearl best and they had been there the longest, so they wanted everything perfect.
