I could not look at them anymore plus I needed an excuse to leave and call off the attack. How dare she show up at my gate with that Lycan. I wanted so much to hate her, but every time I saw her it was like she could do no wrong.

Raven's POVEverything hurt. My body ached. My eyes felt glued shut. The beeping that was close by was driving me crazy.I moaned when I shifted my body and pain spiked down my spine. "Marcus!" It was making my ears ring.I was in a small hospital room the lights were dimmed and for that I was thankful. I still couldn't move my body, so I just laid still trying to adjust.If the Goddess could bring me back to life the least, she could have done was take this damn pain away. I know it's a selfish thought but fuck this hurt.
