Chapter Nineteen
Oh my God, it was hot today, hotter than usual. Mike was going around the camp, laughing and joking. Trying to lighten all our moods.
He even started flirting with Marina. I was surprised because I thought I'd never grow up enough to do it. I'd watched them tiptoe around each other for the past three months.
"Hey Raven chief fast if we could go out and catch a deer for the banquet?" I smiled up at Dustin. He was always trying to find ways to get some alone time with me ever since I had met him a few months ago.
I didn't mind he was growing on me. Honestly at first, he was overbearing. He changed though. I always felt like there was a darkness surrounding him. Spending more time with him I have seen him lighten up.

Raven's POVEverything hurt. My body ached. My eyes felt glued shut. The beeping that was close by was driving me crazy.I moaned when I shifted my body and pain spiked down my spine. "Marcus!" It was making my ears ring.I was in a small hospital room the lights were dimmed and for that I was thankful.
