Chapter Eighteen: Push and Pull Theory of Love

The irony of love is that when love comes knocking on our door, we tend to be scared because we know nothing about it. That's why we push people away, when in fact, in reality, deep inside us, we want them to be pulled closer to us more and more and just never let go.

Zoey stood up and left Dionysus in the guestroom, still with the little puppy in her arms.

"Zoey, wait. Let me explain. Hey. Witch!" Dionysus followed his wife but Zoey went straight to the mansion's elevator. They walked past the old Chevalier who was with his head nurse having some tea on the veranda but both Zoey and Dionysus didn't get to see them.

"What's happening, Chrissy? Looks like they're having a lover's quarrel." Mr. Hermes asked in amusement. The head nurse giggled and nodded her head.

"I think it's kind of normal, sir Hermes. Don't they look so cute? Ever since sir Dio met miss Zoey, he had gotten more alive and energetic. They seemed so in love."

"Well, that lovely little girl surely had brought colors
