Unknown (The Past)
I have to hide her because the gods see her as a threat. She is a half-blood, Half god and half-wolf. I had been rebelling against being forced into a marriage and had gone to the human world. I stayed there for three years and fell in love.
Adam had been grieving at the loss of his mate, who died giving birth to the second son. He was the most gentle and caring man I had ever met. We had slowly fallen in love as I was hired to help take care of his sons.
And now I had given birth to a baby girl. the most beautiful little girl.
Adam named her Ayla, and I loved that he already loved her that much. Also, her brothers, Alex and Kaden, love our little Ayla and always check on her. Adam knew my secret. He knew what, or more like, who I was.
“Adam, I can feel the gods looking for me, and my powers are growing. It can only mean one thing. My mother is dying, and her powers are transferring to me. Soon, I won’t be able to hide. They will know I have been with a mortal. They will search to see who you are, and if they find any evidence of Ayla, they will kill her.” I tell him with tears in my eyes.
“Is there not anything we can do?” He asks me, while holding me in his arms as we look at our six-month-old, sleeping daughter.
“We have to hide her, but it has to be in the werewolf world. We don’t know if she will get a wolf.” I tell him, and he looks at me.
“Where, and how?” He asks.
“I don’t know,” I tell him honestly.
“I know.” A voice says behind us, and we turn to see Adam's Dad.
“You know?” I ask, and he nods his head.
“I do, I can hide her, get her somewhere safe, and make sure no one will ever know where. I am old, it’s time for me to leave this world. I will take this secret with me to the grave.” He promises.
“But Dad, that will mean you won’t be put to rest with Mom. That you will be alone.” Adam says.
“I know, I will find your Mom in the next life. no matter where I am buried, our souls will find each other. Protecting this precious girl, my granddaughter, is more important than pride and traditions.” Adam’s Dad says, putting a hand on Adam’s shoulder as we all look at our little girl.

The decision was made, our little Ayla would be hidden, and hopefully have a happy life. I will be tempted to look for her, but I know I can't.
We watched as Adam's dad left in the night, with our daughter safely hidden in his arms.
“Goodbye, Ayla.” We say, and I cry in the arms of the man I love.
AYLAFucking bitches, fucking Jaxon and Samantha. And fuck their misunderstood view of what they think they deserve.I burn with anger inside, but I keep a calm face until we leave the cells. But of course, Liam can feel it through our matebond, and he pulls me into his arms as soon as we are out.“Calm down, beautiful. This isn’t you.” He whispers into my ear.But my body shakes with anger, and Moon takes over my senses, pushing forward to be let out. I try to speak, but I can’t, and Liam loosens his hold on me a little and looks at me. I know what he sees, not my eyes, but Moon’s.“Come with me,” He says, and pulls me with him towards the forest.I thought he would just lead me into the forest so I could finally let my first shift happen. But I was wrong. Liam kept walking deeper into the forest towards the north. When he finally stopped, I saw a clearing. In the middle of it was a HUGE tree, and for a second I forgot my anger. The tree was unlike any tree I had ever seen before. Bi
LIAMI look at Ayla, and I know she is thinking about what we had just been told. And I knew I had to find out fast whether it was true or not.Michael had left Lily’s phone on my desk, and I took it and looked. A group chat was open because Michael and Daniel hadn't closed it. Ayla and I looked at it, and the chat showed how Nyra and Ziva were baiting Lily by talking about Samantha.Today was the last few messages in their chat, but some were deleted, it seems, and most are from Lily. But Nyra forgot to delete them all.Nyra wanted to talk with Lily. At least that is how it looks, based on Lily's answers. It is also easy to see Lily is being careful, and that she tries to find out more, but without luck.“What do you think this means?” Ayla asks and looks at me.“It means that we have at least two packmembers who don’t follow my orders, either forced or willingly. Probably willingly, as they deliberately try to hide it. Which makes them traitors.” I answer.Ayla doesn’t say more, and
AYLAWhen Liam and I get into his office, he surprises me by pulling me into his arms. It was in that moment that I realized how tense I was. He held me like this for a while, just letting me calm down in the feeling of his arms and soul surrounding me.After a while, he softly kissed my temple, and I looked up at him, and his eyes met mine.“Thank you,” I whispered.“You do not need to thank me. I could just feel that you needed this. But let’s sit down and contact Adam and Asher. Maybe it is good you are here. They will want to know that you are okay.” Liam says and smiles at me.I nod, and we sit down before we call them on FaceTime. It doesn’t take long for Asher to answer.“Hey sis, what’s up?” He greets us happily, but then he looks at us more closely on the screen, and he must see the dirt and blood still visible on Liam.“What happened?” He asks
AYLA After the doctor and the nurses were done with the little Theo, Camille relaxed. I offered to sit with him while it was her turn, and she accepted it.She placed Theo on my lap after checking that he was okay.Theo looked up at me and stared at me for a while before a big goofy smile formed on his little face. Camille kept an eye on us while the doctor and nurses did their job. Theo was busy touching my face with his small hands, and I swallowed hard. How could Jaxon do this? Use kids to get their parents to do things they didn’t want to. I felt so sad for these two kids, and I really hoped their parents had not been killed,When Camille was done, the doctor came to talk to us.“They are both more or less healthy, but they are dehydrated, and blood sugar shows they have probably not eaten much, if at all, for a while. They need rest and food.” The doctor told us.“Thank you, we will make sure they get both, thank you,” Liam promised.“Alpha, Luna.” The Doctor said and bowed hi
AYLA We didn’t make it all the way home before we met Liam on the way there. We stopped to meet him, and he pulled me into his arms, holding me.“Are you okay?” He asked me softly.I didn’t answer but hid my face in his chest, taking in his scent. And he seemed to understand that it was what I needed right now, so I let her do it for a little bit.“Go with your parents to the packhouse. I need to go check on two children who were found in the forest after the attacking wolves left.” I tell her, and she looks at me, shocked.“Who are they?” I ask softly, and I can see he thinks for a second.“Kids that Jaxon held captive to make sure their parents would fight. The attacking wolves were now all rogues. If what the girl told us is true, they attacked and killed an alpha from a small pack. Elders and everyone who cannot fight were killed.” He told us, and I can see there is more, but I don’t push for it. I’ve heard enough.“And the children? What about the parents? Sounds like they were
LIAM‘Fucking shitty crap, fuck, fuck, fuck.’ I swear at myself, and my wolf is pissed off and sad about the pack's losses in this attack. We had lost 3 warriors, and then there was Lily. Why was she so far away that they managed to capture her? It makes no sense. But I will find out.My warriors had caught 2 rogues, and they were kept alive. And right now the only way to get answers was from them, and I want answers. So I was going there first.I entered the building where the rogues were kept. I could smell the stink of the two rogues the moment I entered, and I walked over to the warriors guarding them.“Alpha.” They said and bowed their heads.“How are they?” I ask.“They're well. They were easy to catch, Alpha. They gave up themselves without a fight. As far as we can think of, I think they are siblings. The oldest don’t look mated or old enough to have a mate.” One of the warriors said, and I furrowed my brow. Was it kids?“Are you telling me that they are children?” I asked, an
