Alec's POV

I was seated outside with my heart so heavy. It's been weeks since we couldn't find Jessy. There's nowhere we haven't searched. This got Damion so devastated. He couldn't lose two of his beloved in one day. We already buried the Alpha and now Damion has taken his position. While my own father handed me the Gamma.

I was really unhappy because of Jessy's disappearance. We didn't even know her whereabouts. Jessy is someone I've wanted a long time ago but my father warned me against having anything to do with her. He said I shouldn't entangle myself with the alpha's life. I didn't know what that meant but I obeyed him. I know he wouldn't say a thing if he doesn't have a concrete reason. Another reason is that, Damion might be my friend but our Alpha isn't someone to toil with.
