As Ruben stepped into the private rooms at the top of a massive tower that were once occupied by Basille he looked around with distaste before looking up and gasping.

“Holy shit, this is not what I expected…”

The entire ceiling was see-through to the sky like a massive atrium. It was dark outside and they could see a million stars twinkling down on them.

Kat hugged her arms around herself as she looked around the room with a small pout. “Even though this room was Basille’s it was my most favourite room in the whole castle.” She looked up at the sky with a whimsical smile.

Folding his arms and setting his feet only a foot over the threshold Ruben frowned darkly. “As lovely as that is…why do you think I would want to stay here?”

Kat turned back to regard him, her lips pursed. “Where else? This really is the best rooms in the whole dreary castle.”

Ruben scowled at the rudimentary furniture and the large wooden four poster bed with a mattress that looked like it was stuffed with a mi
