Chapter 13

Mizuko spent the day helping out with Miranda at the shop. While she helps, her thoughts wandered off to Kenshi. The day ended without her seeing him and it is kind of new.

Earlier, when Miranda brought her to the town, the witch told her their town is found in the middle of Hikari. It is said to be the heart of the Kingdom. Miranda also told her not to be deceived for some demons disguised themselves as human around here. But not every demon's transformation is stable and so some transform in crowds most often.

"There must be good demons out there, right? There should be..."

"I am demon myself," Roya tells her. "Am I good, my lady?"

"Oh yes, you are!" She said and then stretches her arms as she yawns. "I didn't know witches could be that busy. Miss Miranda isn't as bad after all."

"Are you sleepy, my lady?"
