Chapter 16- Damien
I went for dinner after half an hour. Adrian wasn’t there though. Is he with her right now? A growl almost slipped out of my mouth. Get a grip.
I have to make her believe that I am changed. I can deal with that mutt later. Lizzy glared at me all the through the dinner. I ignored her. She seems really mad at me. Well it’s my mate and I have every right to do as I please with the human. She has no right to shoot daggers at me like that.
I went to my office to work when I was done eating. I booked a table for tomorrow for ‘our date’. I will leave a note in her room stating the time we will be leaving.
After three hours of sitting still in the chair and filling the papers, I am done for the day. It’s almost midnight now. I stretched and went to my room to get the much needed sleep.
