Chapter 24
The nurse took Evelyn’s blood sample and Lizzy dashed towards the lab. She found Eve’s blood group to be A +ve. She ran towards the blood bank and retrieved a bag of A +ve blood.
She went in the hospital room. The nurses were still cleaning Eve wounds but she was turned on her stomach. There were belt marks like her stomach and thighs on her back.
They cleaned and bandaged her quickly and turned her on her back. They hooked an oxygen mask and took her to a full body scan to check fractures and internal injuries.
They brought her back to the room and Dr. Mark attached Eve’s right hand with an IV drip and heart rate machine. He attached the needle of blood bag to her left hand.
This whole time Evelyn didn’t even blink or react to anything. The nurse injected sleep medicine through the drip and finally Evelyn’s eyes closed. The doctor motioned Lizzy to follow him. They went to his office.

I opened my eyes only to find not an ounce of light around me. Where the heck am I?I tried to see where I was, adjusting my eyes to the darkness. The room seemed familiar but I can’t exactly put a finger on it. I tried to get up but something cut into my wrists, keeping me in place. I woke up in horror. It’s just a dream. I am alone in the room. Adrian and Lizzy must be making arrangements for the move in the night, more like running. Will the Alpha of the other pack except me?
