“Oh they help people in distress. I ran away from home a couple months ago. A guy took advantage of me and left me in the woods to die.” I said sounding sad. “They brought me here and helped me recover. They are helping me with the babies too. They said I can stay here as long as I want. There are many people here like this but they are asleep at the moment. You know it being night and all. You can meet them in the morning. I came down to get a glass of water when I heard the door rattle. I am sure they will help you if you need help. Would you like something to eat?” I babbled.

“One of them tried to help me but was shut by the one I stabbed.” I shivered at the memory I hope I will forget soon. “That’s going to haunt me forever. He is a good guy, the other one. I saw hurt flash through his eyes but it was gone as soon as it came. I nodded not fully believing his words.The lift stopped at his floor and the door opened. He stepped out and I followed him. The door of the lift closed and the whole thing started playing in my head.One day he is shouting at me, glaring at me and making me feel like an unwanted guest and the next day he confesses his love for me.
