Chapter 6- Evelyn
I feel like I am drowning. My body feels so heavy. Where the hell am I? There is light right ahead of me but I can't reach it. Everything is black except for the light source. How am I breathing in the water? Shouldn't I be choking? Hold on a second.
How the hell did I get in the water? I don't remember anything. Am I even drowning or am I hallucinating?
I focused hard on the last memories. Everything came rushing to me. The grumpy guy biting me, Adrian catching me before I fell down. Those traitors. I am going to beat them to pulp when I get my hands on them.
I felt a hard push towards the light and I opened my eyes gasping for air. I got up wincing as I moved my left shoulder.
Where am I? This room is massive. There is a huge window on the left with a view to the jungle and three doors on the wall opposite of the bed.

The fresh air felt good on my skin and ruffled my hair. The back yard had a few foot of tree free ground with a few inches of grass growing. The forest started where the yard ended. No fence. The human and Adrian were so engrossed in themselves that they didn’t even see me coming. I am hating this guy more every passing second. Everyone in the room went silent except for her.
