Chapter 6

Anna was almost home when she stopped the taxi and stepped out. Suddenly, she saw Smith standing in front of her and she became frightened, causing her face to turn pale.

"Mrs. Carson, the boss wants to speak with you," Smith said, handing her the phone.

"I'm not Mrs. Carson. Don't call me that," Anna replied firmly.

"Talk to the boss," Smith insisted.

Anna reluctantly took the phone and heard David's voice on the other end.

"Hello, my dear wife," David greeted her with a devilish smile.

"Don't call me that with your dirty mouth," Anna retorted.

Ignoring her response, David continued, "There's a car in front of you. Get in, and Smith will drive you to my home."

Anna refused, "Are you mad? I already reached my home. I'm not scared of you anymore. I'm going to my brother's."

David became angry and threatened her, "So you forgot what I said? If you enter your home, your brother will die immediately."

Unfazed by his threat, Anna challenged him, "I'm entering, let's see what you do!"
