On a bright Monday morning in a luxurious office room, painted with dark and gray colors, books are neatly arranged on shelves. The office was quiet, you could only hear the clicking of the keyboard but it suddenly went silent.

He sat there with an aura of superiority hovering over him. Axel brought out a file and opened it, his facial expression changed when he saw the contents of the file.

He brought out his phone and dialed a number.

Knock knock~~

There was a knock on the door. "Come in," Axel said.

A young-looking man walked in panting, Marcel ran to the office immediately after he saw the call.

"Sir," he said, Axel didn't raise his head from the file when Marcel came in, but then he suddenly looked up.

Marcel was Axel's assistant. Marcel's breath hitched when Axel looked at him, although this wasn't the first time, he could never get used to his boss's glare.

Axel Stuart was the CEO of IMPERIAL, a company that has been doing well for years and is one of the wealthy companies in the whole of Country A.

He is a renowned businessman, the hottest and most sought-after CEO in the country, he is also known to be cold and ruthless. Axel stood up from his seat and walked to his office window, he stood there, hands in his pocket looking straight outside.

He sighed heavily and continued looking at the scenery outside, "Get the file from the branch office" was all he said

"OK sir," Marcel said and went out of the office. Axel picked up his phone and dialed a number.

'John' was boldly written on the screen. The call was picked up after the first ring. Axel said something and the person said

"We started yesterday boss," John said, after hearing what he wanted, Axel cut the call. Thinking back at the young lady, his thoughts have been clouded with her recently.

He could see her anytime he wanted but no, he waited patiently, and she'll surely end up in his arms, he was determined and confident that he would get what he wanted.

Mirabel woke up quite late, she stood up from the bed and walked towards the bathroom, she suddenly paused in her steps when she noticed the way she looked in the mirror.

She held her scattered hair which looked like a bird's nest, she was a sleepyhead but waking up like this was terrifying.

She walked to the bathroom, and a few minutes later she came out all showered, using a towel to dry her hair she walked to her closet.

Her phone was ringing, she picked it up from the bed and answered it when she saw who the caller was.

"Aiyeeee" Arabella shouted through the phone, Mirabel moved the phone away from her ears.

"You want to deafen me or what," she said shouting back at Arabella through the phone.

"Guess what," Arabella said with joy in her voice, it was obvious that she was beyond ecstatic with what she wanted to tell Mirabel.

"I'm not good at that," Mirabel said annoyingly, there were a lot of things running through her mind, so how could she possibly guess?

"Imperial's entertainment industry is recruiting new employees," Arabella said with glee resounding in her voice.

"I believe if you apply you might get hired in their entertainment industry," she said.

Mirabel who was still dumbfounded by the news, couldn't even say a word.

Imperial was one of the biggest companies in the whole of Country A, and their entertainment industry had top-notch actors and actresses, you would get famous and make a lot.

"They are holding an entrance audition by Friday to recruit new actresses" Arabella finally said.

"This Friday?" Was all Mirabel could say, she was feeling all kinds of emotions right now, astonishment, amazement, happiness, she couldn't put the right words to describe how happy she was, all she had to do was apply and perform well for the audition.

"Let's meet up at Caramel," Arabella said. Caramel was a café and a fast food joint. They both agreed to meet in the next hour.

Mirabel danced around the room, with her towel tied around her upper body, she was so happy, though she wasn't employed yet, the news was something she found joy in.

She quickly dressed up and went to the kitchen, she made toasted bread to eat. After getting ready, she had just twenty minutes more so she left the house.

Mirabel boarded a taxi, the café was a ten minutes drive from her house.

She arrived on time to see Arabella also dropping from a taxi, she walked up to her and they both entered the café.

After settling on a sit, Arabella started the conversation. "OK, you have just four days left," Arabella said she was determined to make Mirabel get the job.

"The application for the audition is on Wednesday, you have to log in to their site," she said to complete her statement.

Arabella heaved a sigh when she remembered something. "Oh. And the application would start by noon, and they'll pick the first one hundred to apply" Arabella said again.

"Huh?" Mirabel questioned with her gaze on Arabella, first hundred? A lot of people would surely want to apply if they are picking only the first one hundred then...

It means she only had a thirty percent chance of getting applied for the audition. Thousands of people out there would also try to apply, and it would make her chance of getting in very low.

"Yes, that's where the problem is," Arabella said with a worried look.

"But, I'm sure you can do it, though there would surely be traffic, as a lot of people out there would also try to log in to the site that same time," Arabella said but paused a little before she continued, "They'll pick the first hundred to apply for the audition, and after the auditioning, they'll pick first twenty that acted well to their demands," she said.

"It's harder than I thought it would be," Mirabel said, she thought it would be easier, but who was she kidding, a lot of people would run in if it was easier.

Arabella ordered an iced latte while Mirabel ordered for cappuccino, they talked for a while before they stood up and left after paying the bills.

"You can do it, I know you can, so don't panic too much, and you must not be discouraged!" Arabella said, she didn't want Mirabel to feel discouraged in any way.

"OK then, I can do it," Mirabel said with a smile and bid Arabella goodbye before they departed.

"Call me when you arrive," Arabella said with a wave, and Mirabel just nodded OK.

Mirabel boarded a taxi straight home, she had no acting shoot today, so she went home straight.

After dropping off, Mirabel turned around to walk into her apartment but suddenly a cloth was used to cover her nose from behind, and she was held tightly.

Mirabel struggled to free herself from the tight grip, but it was all to no avail, as she slowly lost consciousness. Everything turned black to her.

She was taken to a dark alley before being dropped in a black car, which seem to have been there for a while now, the car sped off till it could no longer be seen.

FOUR YEARS LATER*** Axel's mansion was lively with kids playing around as the sun shone its light across the fields. Amora and Mabel's hair was packed into two ponytails, Amora had taken her father's black shiny hair, while Arden's hair was brown, falling to his forehead and covering it. Mabel on the other hand, had taken her mother's blonde hair, the kids played around together, under the loving gazes of their fathers who sat down on chairs facing the kids. "Who would have thought my silent little Mabel would end up becoming a chaotic little princess" Troy sighed. "A silent nature doesn't even fit her, to begin with, her father is so noisy while her mother is cheerful, I think her new behavior stemmed from you both" Stephen chipped in as he sat beside Troy, sipping from the cup of wine in his hand and occasionally staring at where the ladies sat down c

THREE YEARS LATER*** The sun was shining brightly in the sky, casting a warm glow over the beautiful outdoor wedding venue. A road of white chairs was neatly arranged on either side of a grassy aisle, leading up to an elegant white archway adorned with delicate flowers of greenery. The soft staring of classical music filled the air. As the guests eagerly awaited the bride's arrival, Axel stood nervously at the end of the aisle, his heart racing as he prepared to see Mirabel for the first time in her wedding dress. Beside him stood a young boy who looked beyond stunning, with a calm aura around him, dressed in a miniature version of his father's tuxedo, standing proudly as one of the groomsmen. Stephen stood with Axel trying to claim his friend down, and beside him was Martin. And then, finally, they heard light footsteps as someone walked in, a young baby girl three years old, walked down the aisle with a small basket of flowers in her hand, her smile was so bright that the guest

Six Months Later. Mirabel sat down in the garden taking in a breath of air, as she ate some fruits, her baby bump was now super obvious cause she was already nine months gone, her phone which was on the table rang out loud, and she picked it up and check the caller ID, smiling, she answered the call and moved the phone to her ear. "Hey! Quinn, how are you doing?" "Mira! I'm good, how's the baby?" Quinn asked, her words made Mirabel gently rub her baby bump and the baby respond with a kick, an action that the child does once in a while. "Fine," she said with a smile. "That's good. I'm coming to Country A in a few days with my father, he insists on meeting Axel's family" Quinn said. "Ok, we'll make preparations for it" They talked for the next few minutes before the call came to an end. The gates of the mansion were opened and a car drove in, pulling to a stop when it reached the parking lot, Axel came down from the car and walked over to where Mirabel sat in the garden, a bright

Troy held her closely as her body pressed onto his, and the tension in the room increased. His eyes widened when Charlotte brushed her thighs to his member who was already standing hard. He didn't need anyone to tell him that he had also been drugged, he just wasn't sure how it had happened. He groaned as the place in between her legs slightly brushed through his member, he was only wearing a towel. He held her waist tightly as his body heated up, holding her waist, he stood up with her, their lips still sealed, he led her to the bed, dropping her on it, Charlotte looked up at him, she didn't know what was wrong with her, but he was the only one she could give in to. Her body was heating up and she needed him. "I'm so sorry, but I don't think this is right, you might end up hating me when you realize what happened tomorrow. I'll look for another way to help you, the last thing I want is for you to stay away from me. Let me think of something else" he said and was about to take a t

As the clip reached its climax, the music swelled to a fever pitch. The woman burst into a run, her pursuers hot on their heels. Just when it seemed that all was lost, she stumbled and fell, her body hitting the pavement with a sickening thud. The screen faded to black, leaving the crowd in stunned silence, for a moment, no one moved or spoke, the impact of the drama they had just witnessed lingered in the air. Slowly, the lights in the hall began to brighten, and the crowd began to stir. As the realization of the drama's impact set in, the murmurs turned into a wave of thunderous applause that echoed through the hall. The applause was loud and sustained as the crowd showed their appreciation for the performance and expertly crafted storytelling that had been brought to life on the screen before them. The waitress who had been standing by the door walked into the hall as the place brightened up. She went up straight to the table where the trio sat. She handed out the tray to the

Sofia paced around the corridor, at the far end of it, she brought out her phone and dialed a number, it was answered on the first ring. "Hello, Miss" the female voice from the other end greeted. Without returning the greeting, Sofia went straight to the point of the call "I don't care how you are going to do it, all I want you to do is slip the drug in a drink and hand it to him. If at all you fail to do this, you would regret it, and if you succeed, I'll award you with a million bucks" "Remember. No matter what happens at the end of the day, you must never call my name if you are caught. Deal?" Long silence from the other end "Ok, Ms. It's a deal, I'll do it. When would I get the money?" the waitress asked. "After you hand him the drink, I'll send the money" "Ok," the call came to an end. Sofia had a sly grin on he face, this was just her first plan and for some reason, she feels like she would get what she was here for. Sofia wasn't sure yet how she was going to put her firs
