Chapter 2

“Zanthus..  “ she spoke in a hushed whisper if it wasn’t for his wolf hearing he would’ve missed it

He smirked feeling his heart swell at her saying his name but he still had to show her her place so she doesn’t disobey him

“ you’re not allowed to call me by name yet . alpha king for you as well .” he said sternly

She nodded understanding after all she wasn’t anyone special , she's a commoner in fact

“ come sleep.” He ordered laying down on the comfortable luxurious fur

She turned to face him “ I can’t .”

“ why” he asked anger lacing his voice making her flinch

“ it’s inappropriate for a lady to sleep with someone who’s not her husband .” she said softly trying to convince him .

He nodded , “ okay , we'll do it your way .. you can sleep there “ he pointed to a little spot with white fur and she nodded.

As she lay down she started thinking of what’s going to happen to her now that she’s with the strongest man alive, she heard cruel stories about him from elders and she didn’t like it one bit . she has to escape from here no matter what , also it’s her only chance now that she’s not far away from home she can reach her destination in few hours .

That’s it she'll escape when he’s asleep .

She waited for ages to hear his breath turn even

She stood up carefully to not wake him up , and tiptoed to the entrance , she looked out to see soldiers awake guarding.

Carefully she made it to the other side of the tent towards the forest , she was only ten minutes into the forest running as fast as she could when she heard his earth shaking growl, she fell on the floor shaking in fear but proceeded running for her freedom, she heard people running in the distance in an instant she felt her self pinned to the floor , she cried in both pain and fear .

As he made her stand up , she went back to the floor because of the impact of his slap , blood oozed from her lips and she couldn’t stand up as she felt dizzy , he grabbed her hair “ you’re such a little fox , you’ll learn to never deceive me .” she cried in pain from the pressure on her scalp, five of his soldiers were behind along with his beta , he put her on his shoulder returning to his tent .

“ she’s dead the poor creature.” Whispered one of the soldiers .

As he was about to get in his tent his beta called for him “ your majesty I beg you reconsider harming her.  She’s a fragile human being you would easily break her .” spoke Sam

“ what I do to my mate is none of your business Sam .”

Wren couldn’t stop crying on his shoulder fisting his shirt’s fabric between her little fingers in terror .

“ but alpha …” Sam went quite as he earned a glare from his alpha king .

As he entered his tent he threw her on his fur bed earning a gasp of pain from her ..

“ Never try escaping me again , NEVER, you are mine .” he roared as she flinched her eyes big and terrified like a deer.

She felt him get on top of her , “ No .. no , no .. don’t .. please.” She tried to struggle under him but to no avail.

She felt his breath on her neck as she struggled under him , something sharp touched her neck as he licked a spot that made her throw voices out her lips against her will , then an ear piercing scream erupted from her lips , a scream of total pain , an unbearable pain , she went numb under him , she couldn’t move a finger all she did was look up shaking . he licked the blood oozing from his mark away to help her heal faster .

“ the alpha king marked our Luna. “ spoke a soldier as the others nodded knowing what just happened.

He stood up looking at her little fragile form shaking , she couldn’t even cry , tears just rolled down the sides of her face silently , he crouched down turning her head slightly to see his work , he smirked , “ now you’re MINE officially. “ he spoke in arrogance ignoring her pain . his eyes fell on her bruised face from the slap . then he noticed she was sweating and her shaking turned rougher .. he touched her forehead than her cheek, she was cold , he touched her small hand and it was colder than ice .

“ Now I’m officially your mate it’s a must for you to sleep in my bed. “ he smirked laying down next to her .

Tears ran freely from her eyes she felt helpless , she couldn’t move , she was in so much pain , once conscious and once not .

He embraced her little form between his strong arms as he covered her with his body supplying her with his heat.

“ you’ll feel better soon , just sleep now .” he spoke his voice so deep

She went unconscious from all the pain she endured most of the night .. when morning came he checked her temperature and it was back to normal .

He tried waking her up to eat , he looked down at his little mate sleeping helplessly under him , she looked so weak and fragile , the nasty bruise on her left cheek turned purple and the dried blood on her lips bothered him
