Chapter 4

She was getting bored.. she looked behind him to see soldiers talking together on their horses .

So she looked to Sam next to her " sir, how longer it's gonna take ?"

" around an hour or so Luna. " he responded

" why are you calling me Luna?" she asked curious

"because you're the alpha king's mate ." he informed

" can you please explain what a mate is ?" she asked her curiosity pushing her forward

" that's for his majesty to explain , I'm sorry Luna. "

" oh , okay .." she looked down and disappointed

Zanthus liked the fact that she's trying to understand what's around her , he found her cute.

" can you please stop calling me Luna? I'm wren sir ." she spoke again making her mate growl this time, scaring her in the process .

" nobody has the right to call you by your name beside me." He spoke harshly making her shake slightly

" I'm sorry , don't hurt me ." she whispered

"I won't ." he answered shortly

Sam pitied her for what she's going to face once she gets in the castle.. his alpha king is known for being a ruthless merciless leader , it doesn't stop there, even with his mistresses it's rare for him to finish with someone without killing her in the process because of his monstrous ways and rough handling . a mate isn't a mistress in the end , he will take care of her life but she won't escape his ways . she'll get hurt for sure .

" there it is ." spoke Sam pointing to the castle , as they entered the kingdom everyone kneeled down to their alpha king .

The king put her face in his chest to protect her from curious eyes .

It was a long journey to reach the castle . as they entered soldiers bowed down and took the horses to their perspective places

" can you walk ? or never mind it ." he said taking her between his arms bridal style " pretend to be asleep , or you'll have to greet everyone. " and she obeyed

It was a long walk , until they reached his chambers, she opened her eyes and she was amazed at how beautiful it is , they passed a living room and a closed door to get in the main master room . she panicked as he put her on a huge comfortable bed .

" are .. are you , going .." she blushed looking down

" No ." he smirked " not yet , I'm sure you're tired, maids will come help you take a bath and get you ready for bed .. "

As he finished what he's saying , there was a knock .. " come in." Six maids came in synch bowing down

" do your work , and bring us dinner in an hour , I'll be back soon." He ordered leaving the room .

" let's start Luna ." one of the maids spoke as she saw the alpha king's mark on her .

Wren just nodded, she didn't say anything .

They started waxing every part of her body before giving her a hot bath .

" what's going to happen after this?" she asked scared

" what do you mean Luna?" asked the leader of the maids

" will he force himself on me ?" she spoke almost crying in fear

" he still didn't touch you even after marking you ?"

" he didn't .. b.. but what is marking about.?" She asked oblivious

A maid brought her a mirror showing her her neck " that's a mark ."

"what does it mean , I thought he punished me by biting me

" a mark means you're his .. people will know that you're mated and nobody will ever try approaching you .. also you start feeling more connected , he can feel what you're getting through when you're in danger ." she explained

As they finished bathing her , they gave her lingerie and a decent  sleeping dress

They made her hair and put some perfume on her body. Then bowed and excused themselves as other maids came in to bring dinner .

The alpha king entered shortly after they left , sitting on the dining table .

" eat ." he ordered " starting tomorrow morning you'll start eating downstairs with everyone else they have to meet you." She nodded trying to save herself from punishments

" you will sign some papers so become my wife legally for your community."

" as you like. " she spoke softly eating her food

As they finished eating a former member of the ministry came in and handed her the papers that she signed without a choice and left .

He walked towards her hugging her to him " now you're all Mine ."

" don't .. touch me .. please ." she said

" why .. it's my right ."

" it's not , you made me do everything you want without even asking me if I want it or not. "

" sit down , I think you don't know what a mate is ." the both sat in the living room

" a mate my sweet mate , is your other half , someone who was chosen for you before your birth , as wolves we can't live without our mates , maybe because you're human you still can't understand this but you will soon ."

" still don't touch me .. "

" I won't do anything until you beg for it , but you can't order me wether I touch you or not."

"now what am I supposed to do as your mate ?"

" behave , that's all . don't get yourself in trouble because I won't show mercy ."

She nodded

"where am I supposed to sleep ?" she asked

"on my bed , between my arms obviously. " he said like a fact

" but ..." she was about to speak when he interrupted

" you have no reason to not sleep with me .. you're legally my wife , it's a must. " he ordered taking off his clothes to take a bath

There was a knock on the door "enter "

Two beautiful ladies came in , they didn't seem to be maids .. they wore nice dresses and they looked taken care of .

They went into the bathroom getting it ready for the alpha king ..

" w..what , are they ?" she asked curiously

" mistresses ." he informed shortly

She didn't say a word only sat on the bed looking down.

"alpha king everything's ready " spoke the blond one bowing

He took a last glance at her then left to get his bath .

She put her head on the luxurious pillow her little mind playing tricks on her ..

She actually found her mate appealing and she likes his aura .. he is a Greek god . but is she ready to accept him after what he did to her .

But he is her husband now , and as he said his mate, she felt a shock whenever he touched her and his scent was masculine , extravagant.. he's a king , he can replace her anytime .

She just couldn't lay back peacefully.

She walked towards the bathroom huge doors knocking " can I please come in ." she asked softly "you may." He ordered

She entered slowly not so sure what she's doing.

" can you please leave , I'll handle this ." she requested politely smiling at them

They both looked at the alpha king who nodded .

As they left .

" who does she think she is ? that little whore wants to steal our king ."

" indeed ."

" I'm sorry , I, I guess as your wife it's my duty to care after you , even if you're not treating me well .. my grandmother taught me well ." she spoke softly looking down playing her fingers nervously

" then do it ." there was a ghost of a smile on his lips that disappeared in a second.

She took the soap between her little hands and applied it on his huge back massaging it in the process , then she proceeded washing his beautiful hair , massaging his scalp as well .. as she finished rinsing he kissed her hand..

"it was relaxing , good girl." He winked standing up as she turned away immediately .. " I can take it from here go to sleep angel ." she nodded walking away

He went out topless wearing only some loose pants , he got between the sheets , "come closer , my wolf is restless ." he ordered

She moved slightly just to not get him angry but he wasn't satisfied , he took her by the waist making her straddle him while putting her head on his chest.. "this is better ." he sighed in relief

" it's uncomfortable. " she whispered in fear

" relax , why are you so scared ." he spoke his voice husky

" because you're scary ." she spoke softly

" if you behave I won't harm you . learn to understand that you're married now and you have a mate .. an alpha king , I know it's not easy to satisfy me , but I appreciate your efforts ."

" what would you do if I run away once again.?" She asked curious

" I will find you in minutes , whip you until you can't stand on your own , then chain you to my bed and I don't guarantee all the horrific things that can happen to your little body on this bed."

He put his left arm around her waist while the other one under his head .. she shook in fear whimpering without her realising

" you're so cruel .. I want to go back to Papi's house ." she spoke her body tense

" we will visit them next month. "

" No I want to stay there , I don't want to be your wife , you're a monster .. I should have married Tengun when he proposed to me ."

" who's this Tengun? " he asked his grip becoming painful .

" why are you asking ?" she tried dodging his question .

He flipped her under him pinning her hands beside her " don't let me repeat myself , NEVER talk back ."

" he .. he is my neighbour , my childhood friend." He smelt admiration as she talked about him and that drove him crazy , he let go of her hands , spreading her thighs aggressively she struggled to free herself , " lay still if you don't want to face consequences. " and she obeyed

He smelled her lady parts and he was satisfied smelling innocence and purity.. this girl is untouched.

He suddenly kissed her roughly as she tried struggling but overpowering an alpha king was impossible even for other strong men let alone for this little creature , he pinched her bottom to make her open her mouth and he succeeded..

It was her first kiss yet her lips are already swollen and bruised as well as she was panting out of breath all flushed and embarrassed

He lied back beside her composed .

She couldn't sleep that night , his presence scared her and the heated kiss didn't leave her mind ..
