After I’ve gone back downstairs, I send Aubrey a text asking where she is and if she wants to go back together. I need to blow off some steam after dealing with Cain. I’m the type of person who doesn’t pay attention to her surroundings when I’m reading. This morning came with a warm sunlight seeping into the room. I didn’t pull my blackout curtain but welcome the day with a big smile. No alarm needed to stir me awake. I didn’t even linger on my bed for long but get up quickly for a good bath.
