“Wow, these are great designs, Kate,” Alexander remarked, looking at the sketches.

“I’ve always liked fashion,” Kate replied. “I’ve made many designs. I thought about starting my company, but now that Carlos and I are in this together, I have no reason to keep these to myself.”

“You designed sports apparel for men, too?” Alexander asked, while lifting his brow.

Carlos smirked, observing how some sketches fitted his style. He knew he was the inspiration for her drawings. On the other hand, Kate flushed, answering Alexander, “Yes, I did. Some of them were designs I made years back. I drew them while watching Carlos play.”

“Which makes me wonder, why did you never start your own clothing company?” Alexander sought.

Reluctantly, Kate replied, “I was distracted.”
